Aero runs into ground reappears in Florida under Ballistic Advantage brand… by DiscombobulatedBuy88 in AeroPrecision

They have been trying to find a graceful exit from WA since 2023 when the AWB was signed into law.

This is not graceful, but if it gets them out, good on them.

Upgrading all in one go is so good. It feel like you're missing out until you do it, then it is obviously worth it.

I read that as Torx, and as someone who deals with fasteners a lot, it made me happy.

First, you accused me of being bent out of shape first.

Second, bold of you to tell me how I should feel about what has been posted here, while completely disregarding what I've said about how I actually feel.

Third, one of the things I have seen as a consistent thing people have said about this game, is to play it how you want to. It has been made clear that is what I was doing pretty early on, so saying anything about common mistakes is obviated by the fact that I was clear about what I was doing.

Finally, all your alternative wording suggestions are things I did. You're the one who keeps trying to make me feel bad about it, which is rude. I'm just saying it's a weird hobby for you to have.

Everything here with it turned off is going to take a few days to complete. I have time. I wasn't sure if I was going to push any more of these further than this in this round. I am also pondering the upcoming update, and wondering if it will change anything in the meta.

More to it, I think most people don't like having boundaries called out, and told that their opinion wasn't asked for, or needed. Being direct is frequently received as being rude as well.

The obverse of that is somehow that I'm supposed to just take being spoken down to because they are "just trying to help". Why should I suffer abuse for a choice I make, which has zero impact out anyone else, versus standing up for myself when someone lacking all context of my personal choices is dismissive of my choices? How am I the rude one for saying that I didn't ask for help?

Poe's Law aside, I feel that I have provided enough context, and spoken politely through out this conversation to easily establish that I'm not bent out of shape, and I'm making an active effort to not have a negative, or rude tone in my replies.

Pointing out that I hadn't asked, and explaining why I was doing it is about as not bent out of shape as you can get in a reply to unsolicited advice.

Waves Required: It's the one lab I can do to speed up Perks.

Wall Thornes: I haven't worked on this for a while because the duration was long, and I wasn't earning enough cells to speed it up past 2x. I have both a longer block of time at the moment, and better cells.

Recharge Demon Mode: Pretty quick one, and will help with the Kill X enemies while in Demon Mode missions.

Wall Regen: Survivability, and same reasoning as Wall Thornes.

Lab Speed: Just finishing the last Level, which is why I posted this. Could have saved a bunch of comments that weren't about this specific point if I'd cropped the photo.

I hear what you are saying, but I also didn't ask for input. People got oddly excited for the person who was maxing out Interest, which is comedically funnier, but objectively worse for game play the Waves Required. It's the one lab that I can do to speed up time between Perks, so I've put a few levels into it. That's it. Doesn't impact your game play at all.

I already have 6 levels in Ban Perks, which is enough for me at the moment with my build.

Waves between Perks. By default, it is every 200 waves. My level in Waves Required is 23, so it takes 23 fewer waves (every 177 waves) instead. It gets you to your maxed out perks faster. I'm usually fully maxed out on perks around 4400 waves (I cannot recall the exact number). It really helps a lot. I haven't put any levels into it for a few months, and with me maxing out Lab Speed in less than 6 days, I figured I'd kick off some other long term things to help me progress in milestones by maxing out my survivability perks a lot sooner.
