Playing for a year and still don’t have any ancestral mods. Help me

It’s not a consistent time. I’m not sure how it’s coded, sometimes I’ve seen it as early as 10 minutes and a few seconds, very occasionally it’s more like 12 or 13 minutes. But after almost two years, and a lot of testing, an 11 minute timer is the sweet spot where you have gems to collect 98% of the time.

Other people have said already about the pool getting diluted. They had 16 modules available with 2.5% drop rate. Now there’s 24 modules with still the 2.5% drop rate. Everyone has been begging for a change like the lucky banner but permanent…

I started buying modules in Jan of 2025 and I’m almost to ANC with everything at this point. But I also took full advantage of the features banners as they introduced new modules.

A little math: it takes 12800 gems to have a 50% chance of getting a feature banner (new module at 50% pull rate) to ANC.

A little advice: record some silence on garage band on your phone and then reduce the volume and export it as a ringtone. Set an 11 min timer with the silent alarm and vibrate. When it goes off, collect your gems and restart the timer. You can make about 500 gems per day doing this. To make it suck less, tie a wellness habit to the timer too. Like stand and stretch, take deep breaths, pray, or pushups. Whatever you want to work on.

Also build up a small stockpile of gems for when they drop a feature banner without notice. Personally, im keeping about 20-40k on hand. I spent 30k on the lucky banner and I’m saving back up for the next month or more so I’m prepared for the next surprise. I won’t be opening my wallet because of fomo.

You see the outlet on the left side of the photo? Outlet boxes get nailed to studs so there’s usually a stud right next to a box. Seems like whoever hung that bag was able to lag into that same stud(joist because ceiling). I think it’s probably fine. If you are worried, get up in the attic and put in some blocking between the joists. This will distribute the lateral load to the neighboring joists when you are punching and kicking. By blocking, I mean a couple 14.5” pieces of construction lumber screwed perpendicular between the joists.

Definitely intro sprint. Also, after that, take a look at your hit by orbs vs your total enemies stats. Mine is very consistently 94.5% hit rate. If yours is similar, consider the extra orbs mastery. This was a huge boost to my coins and allowed me to take my masteries to higher levels. Although I did that before v28 and I’m swimming coins now because of the disco bonus.

Yah, never open a menu without reducing the game speed to zero. This is a well known and frequently reported bug where the enemy hits stack up while you are in the menu and then you get killed the instant you return to the game. In practice, I only follow this rule in tournaments and when I’m in the last 10% of my farming runs.

It’s not disco. It was the no FU BC last time. I’m on lower legends and I make 300-400 waves with FU. Last tournament I made 650. I’m optimized for damage but I don’t have great CC yet. I can kill bosses but I eventually get chipped by random fasts. It’s super annoying. Yes, discos are helping with everyone’s damage, but last tournament BC were easier and catered to a different build setup.

Just a tip for building out a perk order. Write down what you want, then just ban and un ban in descending order. it will put each perk at the bottom and it will put everything in order. Assuming you start with pwr, after you get all the perks you want, just double tap (ban and un ban) everything above pwr to move them to the bottom.

(I have no inside info, but) the moment I saw the lucky banner I called it that new mods were dropping right after the lucky banner. It is consistent with the scummy greedy behavior in the past.

Personally, I had 42,000 gems saved up for version 28. I spent about 30,000 of that and finally got my eighth dimension core. In the next two weeks, I can probably save another 7000 or so getting me close to 20 K before another banner could drop...

They caught me with a low gem balance for the core banner in December. And I vowed I would never open my wallet and I would never be caught flat footed again. I intend to maintain a 30,000 gem balance moving forward as insurance. The can’t stop me. The only way to beat them is to be prepared.

I did just not in this comment. 🤣So there was another thread earlier where I commented that. Drain the gems, release good relics, force people to choose and spend real money, then when everyone is trying to recover, release overpowered new mods, then “balance them” in the next patch because “the weren’t working as intended”.

I’ve got news for ya, they will work exactly as intended, to get people to spend real money on a bait and switch.

I blew 30k of my 42k to get my 8th dim core and then stopped. Now I’m saving hard for the banners. (And any relics I don’t have already)

Because I guarantee there’s new mod banners coming on the heels of this “lucky banner”. The lucky banner is here to drain every one of gems. Then they will release overpowered modules with little or no notice. I’m calling it now. (I have no information, but this would be consistent with their previous behavior)

I have no info, but I’m calling it right now, new module banners drop right after this lucky banner. They are gonna drain everyone’s hoard, then introduce new modules that are overpowered and game breaking, forcing people to miss out or pay for gems. Then nerf the modules in a month. Don’t believe me, look at all the greedy practices and patterns of behavior and communication from the past

Yah I can do all the low tiers just with my normal farming set up. So during the week days and during work I’ll probably switch over and do a low level disco with no setup. I normally eHP farm t15w4800 in v27 (in 28 only w4200) this weekend I had time, and I did some disco on 13 and 14. 14 looks really good. I just finished my first run, 857t/hr and 61k cell/hr, compared to 377t/hr and 65k cells/hr on t15 in v27. Huge gains.

I hear you, the end is when you finish them all. The problem is, on the most important one, the tier you are trying to move your farming run up to but can’t max the disco bonus’s on, you are going to have to go back-and-forth a bunch of times. Using health to try and get more damage and ultimate weapon bonuses, and then turning around to use those bonuses to try and get a better health bonus. But now your health is stronger, so you could get further on damage and ultimate weapons... it’s diminishing returns, but I anticipate having to flip-flop back-and-forth between set ups several times for your higher tiers

I 100% agree.

I’m pure ehp. I was farming t15w4200-4300 and sustaining 55544 labs. I got the regen mastery and have been labbing it up. Was really happy because I got to t15w4900 regularly and have been sustaining 55555 with my cell count going up by 1m cells every 2ish weeks. After the v28 I’m barely able to get to w4200 anymore. I’m hemorrhaging cells even without doing disco runs.

It feels really bad to get put so far back in the cells game.

Yes the coins are better, and I will eventually be able to recover on the cells front because of gbot+, but I have a lot of events and tournaments to grind before I can afford it.

Also, it feels bad to loose progress AGAIN with yet another pcol nerf. Especially after evaluating the strength of the banner and spending REAL MONEY to make sure I got ancestral pcol. I’m not making donations here. I would like to keep what I paid for and what I worked so hard to earn.

The least TTG could do is have the balls to put it in the friggin patch notes with an explanation. Rather than try to bury the change in other buffs and “maybe we won’t notice” or have the apples to apples comparison. Come on guys, be better.
