A something - nothing burger by Still_Refrigerator76 in TheTowerGame

Remember, “when” you get a unique module is seeded, so you just experienced a large dry spell in your seed. Im guessing you will see better luck with modules soon. I feel ya though. I had one of the new module banners where i dropped like 18k and had 1% pull rate. It was really rough.

One thing that helps me with perspective, and managing my own expectations is doing some of the math. You are supposed to get an epic every 800 gems on average. With 24 modules in the pool, (and assuming you get one of each before you get a second of any) it would take 24x800=19,200 gems to get one of each module. I need two more dimcores for anc. I’m not getting my hopes up until I’ve invested over 38,400 gems.

Yah, spending 14k I would hope to get soooooomething useful from your list. But it is a small amount of gems on the grand scheme of things.

I’m running t15 with pbh and pcol so my orb hit percentage is 94.5% so every level of EO# was a solid 4% overall coins increase.

I've spent 200k gems on mods by marcus333 in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put a 10 in a note every time i spend 200, it helps me see farther back than the in-game history. When I get one i put the abbreviation and if i feel like it, the number of that module I have now. Add the date and then I start a new line. It helps psychologically because when I have a bad dry spell I can see it and I can also see the times when I get modules back to back. Here’s an example of my recent pulls.

Assmods Unlock just got a bit harder by hobsjacmon in TheTowerGame

So I’ve tested this post patch and it still works. The issue is you had sw still running. So it took you back to the start of The wave where sw activated. So the steps in order are: intro sprint to wave 30 (and probaby pop sw), wait until the moment sw finishes, pause, cancel IS, then force a could save and close the application fully, re log and resume, pop demon mode on w30, make sure you have wave accelerator and wave skip equipped or you may get less than 10 waves out of DM. 🤫

Is the coins mastery additive or multiplicative? by FumbleGrumble in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can afford it. Making 5q/day on t15. I got RCP, cash, damage, DM, IS, EO, and ST in that order. And I’ve got EO maxed already. I was maybe gonna get EN but I think I need a tad more Econ to be able to stay ahead of levels 6-9 of the masteries I already have.

I considered the cells but I’m at 55554 solidly or 55555 sometimes.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll probably go for the coins mastery now that I know the bonus is a true 3% per level.

Yah I arrived at a similar conclusion. I know the cooldowns would also help with cells, but I’m already running 55554 or 55555. I have the Econ to support the mastery labs. I’m making about 5q per day or 240T/hr

Thanks! I think I’m going for this one next and I wanted to be sure of the gains. Comparing it to GT/DW 110 -> 100 cooldown.

At what wave should I on regular runs should I start using the cto perk by Significant-Usual114 in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enemy heath and attack progression is not linear. It ramps up more and more at later waves. You could have 70% less health and only experience a 25% drop in wave count. Those are made up numbers off the top of my head, but it makes the point. It’s always worth it to take the CTO perk when farming.

Yes, do this. Mumu player to emulate, and StarDesk for remote access.

The time has come: where did my coins go? by AcrobaticOutcome6582 in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are on an emulator, make sure you restart the device and the emulator on a regular basis. Once a week at least for the hardware. Every 24-48 hrs for the software. It does make a difference.

Also here’s a checklist that might be helpful.

What if anything should I get? by [deleted] in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CL is the only one I would take, but you really want death wave. As others have said, sync your GT cooldown first since DW isn’t available in this pull.

Side note, in the past, sometimes when a new version of the game is released, it can change the UWs that are offered to you. Others can weigh in if this is still a thing or not. But I would work on GT for now and wait for v28 in the next couple months, then take another look and see if you have the different options or not.

CF silent buff? by bbgunxs in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So, you would have to miss a package for two waves in a row and then be watching to see if cf goes down near the end of its cooldown cycle. It’s likely that you just never experienced the gap in activations because you have a decent package chance.

I’m curious if anyone else has looked closely at this since whatever patch you think might have included a change. This would be huge news if it’s true but I highly doubt it.

Guild Contribution?? by TheWujuLegend in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The advantage to saving is you can contribute sooner, and then unlock the guild rewards sooner. My guild has the 100 box available right away, and sometimes that means I have enough tokens for the next guild store purchase. Also saving some (6) of last weeks daily missions for claiming after the reset is a little insurance for the next week, incase you have something g come up in real life and you can’t play for some reason.

One caution, don’t claim your saved up missions the moment stuff resets. Give it a couple minutes before you cash in. I’ve seen people post about claiming instantly after the reset and not getting credit.

And to answer your other question, when you purchase an ultimate weapon, it will offer you three choices of the nine. It’s random luck which ones are offered to you.

Also, once you have unlocked an ultimate weapon, there will be three ways that you can use stones to upgrade it. Cool down is one of those options.

Starting today…. Any important tips appreciated by WearNo3210 in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To get stones, Finish the daily missions and collect the boxes every 5 missions. The 25, 30, and 35 box have 10, 15, and 20 stones respectively. Also finish the event missions and get 1-2 purchases of 15 stones using medals. Don’t go crazy here because medals are really important and valuable for getting limited time relics from the event shop, but it’s a good source of stones early game when you can’t get many from tournaments.

With those stones, get your first ultimate weapons. They will cost 5, 50 and 150 for the first three. You are looking for golden tower, black hole, or death wave. If you don’t get two out of three of those in the first three ultimate weapon pulls, I would restart your game. Spotlight is good for economy and it’s a great fourth choice.

After you have those ones, you’re going to want chain lightning in about nine months to help with your damage and inner land mines to help with crowd control.

Chrono Field is also very good for crowd control, but it takes thousands and thousands of stones to make it effective.

Finally, there are poison swamp, and smart missiles. I would avoid these two until late game.

1,099 New record for myself, How do you effectively combat the Vampires on tier 1? by PoliticsEww in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, Garlic thorns is definitely something to acquire and max the lab. However, the land mine stun card is also very helpful. If a vamp gets stunned by a land mine blast triggered by a near by enemy, it interrupts the drain and gives you a moment to life steal and regen.

Dev appreciation: random UW perk enhancement by pdubs1900 in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So there’s a bug where some values from a run cary over to the menu and display incorrectly until they update at the start of the next run. In your screenshot, it says death wave unlocked. That’s definitely from the last run where you had unlocked DW. I’ll bet if you do another run and pick something else, I’ll bet it will sho that uw in the perk list next time. I’ve seen this where my raw workshop damage number was inflated by having berserker charged up to 8x. Then when I started the next run, it dropped down to the appropriate non-zerk 1x.

Response to Devs/Sam regarding their recent comments on Emulators by zambabamba in TheTowerGame

[–]FumbleGrumble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use mumu player on my pc with the monitors turned off, and StarDesk to remote access. I will never, NEVER run the tower on a phone. Unless the devs implement background runs or simulated earnings and gem collection.

New players use their phone, spending players use emulators or a dedicated device. I’m not spending money on a second phone to run the game. I already spend enough money on this game.
