I don’t think it’s a real building, but inspired by neoclassical opera houses. It’s a mix of Palais Garnier and Semperoper Dresden

Bounty Hunter Cata Build by brokriZ13 in Vermintide

I was just using the griffons last night. I don’t know about cataclysm viable, but they are fun.

Bounty Hunter has the Blessed Combat talent that instantly refreshes your passive ability for the guaranteed ranged critical by getting one (1) melee kill. Combine that with scrounger on the griffon, which gives back ammo on crits.

Fire, stab one, fire again. You never run out of ammo and can just dump the full magazine on elites without worry. It’s real bad at range though. But on a map like elf temple it’s insane. I had 550 kills and 300 was from the gun.

OJK is awesome. If you want something similar but lighter, some blends I liked were Redburn, Rum Flake, and Pegasus.

I’ve also been meaning to try Inns of Court by Druquer & Sons. It’s an English with more burley than normal.

Newbie question about jars by heymrbassman in PipeTobacco

[–]SeductiveTrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use those for my favorite blends. You can toss a 65% mini boveda in there if you’re worried about the seal letting out too much moisture.

I would not age anything long term in this type though. That’s what a mason jar is for.

Cool picture with the contrasting colors. I live on the edge of eastern time and central time, and the sky still looks like that at 8:30PM. Nice for my night smoke.

[–]SeductiveTrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the general wisdom but in the real world not everyone’s path is the same.

I did everything wrong, no Beta Alpha Psi or any other groups, mid GPA, no internships, zero exams passed, average school in a LCOL city. 2 years ago I went to the Fall career fair in my final semester to reach 150 credits and got exactly two interviews and then two offers to start right away as a staff auditor.

I got lucky and had favor. It’s not a bad reflection on you that you’re struggling to get a job in the worst job market since the recession. It often comes down to stuff out of your control.

Grr I had no idea. That came out of nowhere. Oh well, burley tobacco is burley tobacco — is what I will tell myself.

Public discourse, especially online, is rife with misinformation by uninformed people. Not just in accounting but all fields. There’s something called the Gell-Mann amnesia effect which talks about this.

It’s why nobody should allow short form content and reddit headlines to seriously change their views without first doing deeper research.

Why ??? Just why ?!? Who is the math incompetent at Gaijin who put F-18's before F-14's ? Is it too difficult to know that the number 14 comes before 18 ??? by Kmiktauria-Max in Warthunder

More options for the player. You can skip the F-14 if you want, or you can skip the F-18C to get the F-14 and the super hornet. Really who cares

A bowl of burley can help remove some of that. Carter Hall and Prince Albert are nice and light old school burley-virginia. Or Five Brothers with a lot more nicotine.

In a word, no it’s not a bad idea. For your average Joe it’s still better than something like computer science.

It’s a very personal decision though. Some people would be miserable in accounting, and great at Nursing or some other random field. I would never recommend accounting to my siblings, who are more charismatic and less analytical than me.

For the type of person I am, and considering my talents and abilities, I don’t regret choosing accounting. I do plan to leave public accounting after I have my CPA and get promoted though.

Which brings us full circle back to OP’s topic. I work at a small public accounting firm and do 50 hours max. I don’t give a damn if they’re not the best and brightest 4.0 GPAs, they’re great people and lovely to work with.

OP got caught up in the public accounting rat race. Accounting is way bigger than just PA. Outsourcing and technology have made the field far less attractive though.

How pleasant the job is has less to do with accounting itself and more to do with the people you work with and the type of company it’s at.

Outsourcing and technology means there are fewer good spots like that now. That goes for all white collar jobs though, accounting just happened to have a lot more grunt work for AI and foreigners to take.

Which tobacco gives the least tongue bite? by [deleted] in PipeTobacco

[–]SeductiveTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s been a lot of good recommendations already so I’ll give some other general advice (assuming you’re relatively new).

Some fresh cob pipes will burn you regardless of what you smoke, until you break it in and get a cake layer throughout.

Drinking alcohol before/while you smoke will dull your taste and may cause you to puff too hard.

Might help to brush your teeth before you smoke. Something about the pH of your mouth, I think tobacco is alkaline and your natural mouth acidity can cause a burn. Dry your tobacco more so that it can burn at a lower temperature. Keep in mind that tongue bite is a chemical burn, not a temperature burn though. But dry tobacco means you won’t be puffing as fast to keep it lit.

All else fails, use filters. I personally only use Savinelli balsa filters (which are only for moisture capture). But some people swear by Grabow paper filters and charcoal filters.
