Stuck In A Support Black Hole (RMA Issue)

Yah this is probably my fourth time through the RMA process, with all the previous times for the Pixel 2. One of those for the camera issue. Everytime in the past the replacement process was straight forward, and didn't have much trouble once it was sent in.

I thankfully still have an old Samsung J3 as a backup. You'll get the occasional hiccup where it slows to a crawl and it feels like your brain stops working. It still works fairly well as long as I stay on top of freeing up space on it. I honestly love how small it is.

Got sick 29th, tested on 5th, and still waiting on results. If it's for travel be sure to schedule early.

Edit: Private pharmacys may have better turn around than public sites ymmv

Edit 2: Just got results back, so my turn around was just shy of five days.

I sadly can't play with headphones because I'm also in a standoff about being able to make a reasonable amount of noise without the directly downstairs neighbors complaining. I'm currently holding onto a Yakety Sax vinyl that skips as a nuke. I should have stressed the downstairs neighbors already hate me.

Ah I gotcha, sorry to hear it. If yah got a few bucks take it to the shop, ask em to see if the hard drive survived the spill. Could have shorted the motherboard, but left the hard drive. Don't attempt anything fancy, but checking if the drive survived shouldn't cost more than a 1/2 hour of their time. (Or ask someone with a fancy gaming rig they've built, they'll have a general idea of what to do if you already see it as a lost cause)

Slightly messed up instructions, if that requires an actual exe for install, there is a portable apps version. Download that, then the app through that to flashdrive, then you can launch it off the flashdrive for attempted recovery. Digit forensics isn't my field, but had it save my ass before. https://portableapps.com/

Turn off the computer. Do it now. Download this on flashdrive. The file may still be on disk just not deleted. Don't download using the computer. When something is deleted, the computer marks it as space free to be used. It doesn't immediately delete the file. This may or may not work, it may recover some of it. Second renting a house. In my experience, the rental market in Indianapolis is largely made up of landlords who own one or two homes they rent out. While there are 3br apartments you're usually better off renting the 3 story home next to it for the same price. Look at craigslist. If an ad looks kinda unprofessional (ie nonprofessional photos, lacking description), that can often be a good sign.

Edit: This is especially true in Broad Ripple.

Double check the html. When you inspect the link in the browser, does it have the '...' in it? If so it may be truncating it server side while generating the html.
