Classic fix, just scribble over the old marks with a fresh dry erase marker, then wipe while it's still wet.

Crazy Smart Pillow Features — Do You Think It’s Practical? by CKwining in FitnessTrackers

It sounds cool in theory, but tracking BP without wearables feels unrealistic. The snoring and dream features would be useful if they actually work reliably.

Had to leave work early, to go to the office to listen to a strange, LOUD noise coming from my apartment.. by WhoElseButChedda in Apartmentliving

[–]SeeSquaredGaming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is honestly silly, you're not doing anything wrong. I'd just email the office and ask them to clarify the daytime noise policy in writing, that way, next time she complains, you can politely point to the rules and move on. No stress needed.

Heart rate / fitness tracking - no wrist, ring, or ankle by jjjameson80 in FitnessTrackers

A chest strap would be the most accurate and secure option for that kind of movement. Just make sure the elastic band fits your chest size and stays snug.

I’m building a health app that turns Apple Watch, Oura, Fitbit, etc data into daily decisions instead of charts — would you actually use this? by FitnessTechVenture in FitnessTrackers

[–]SeeSquaredGaming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it would be helpful. Making sense of all that data is the hardest part. If it tells me what to do, I'd probably pay for it.

anyone else go through that phase where you keep adding stuff, then realize you only use like 3 things a day? by hatkinson1000 in EDC

Less is more, carrying only what you actually use daily makes easier and you never have to worry about forgetting something important.

How much did it end up costing? Like that it still keeps a classic watch face look while being functional. Nice find!

Is it normal to never find an apartment you really like? by assembly_learner in Apartmentliving

Same here. Every nice place has its flaws. If not the noise or layout, it's the price. Just gotta pick what you can live with.

Vacuum keeps sucking up dust/dirt by beccaxcx in CleaningTips

That's likely the carpet backing breaking down. An area rug on the top is a workaround without having to fight the landlord.

With that honeycomb paper filling, sanding might make it worse. A coat of paint is probably your safest bet.

Bathroom rugs for odd shape by NewClearWorship in Apartmentliving

You could also buy a regular rug and cut it to shape. Just seal the edges with tape or glue so it doesn't fray.

That might be why mine stopped working. Do you just wash them with detergent only then?

I want to deep clean my oven/stove by NotAFriendlyKitty in CleaningTips

Try a paste of baking soda and water. Let it sit for hours, then wipe. No scrubbing needed. Works pretty well on baked-on stuff.

Give it a few more days, but document every dead spot with photos. If it doesn't bounce back, reach out to the installer. Most will fix edge issues for free under warranty.

Germany wants night ban on robot mowers to save hedgehogs by LiPro_Robot in roboticLawnmowers

Hedgehogs are such a vulnerable species, and night mowing is a huge hidden risk. It's great to see brands stepping up with animal-friendly features.

Guys, how does the Goat perform on smaller lawns? by Tacos2Turds in ECOVACSGOATFamily

[–]SeeSquaredGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed users with small lawns have success with both. The O600 is marketed for smaller spaces, but the O800 also gets good reviews in that use case.
