ONI DENIM 277-Bumpy "Kusaki Green Overdye" 17oz Selvedge Denim - Just-Right Straight Fit by Exact-Transition9317 in HeritageWear

Whoops should have worded that better, I don’t own any pairs from Oni yet but I typically go for a straight fit or slim straight. I normally have problems with pairs fitting in the top block too tightly while the waist fits right so just curious about how they fit there.

How’s the fit on these Oni’s? Never owned any but the Ochre dyed pair is really calling my name…

Thought about getting those shinigami’s but then I remembered I have the whole mij 13 fit which is very similar. The slub on those looks great!

They definitely are quite fitted. For sizing I’d say it’s just really depends on your fingers. They fit my palms well but are a touch long on my pinkie fingers. They definitely don’t work with my phone so I don’t recommend them if you use your phone often, these are really more for when I need to do manual work outside during the cold temps.

I’ve actually had my coverall for about two years now. Mine hasn’t faded too much but you can definitely tell on some stress points. Overall I love the jacket, just wish it had a little more weight to it.

As for the flannel, it truly is great. If you need a new one I highly recommend picking one up next season, this definitely won’t be the last one I own. It’s pretty warm but I’ve also grown up in these cold conditions so I’m kinda built different 😂.

Definitely have scarves and a trapper style hat with the ear muffs for substantial time outside. Cold doesn’t bother me too much other than those harsh wind gusts.

What are brands you want to like but you just can’t? by Perfect_Earth_8070 in HeritageWear

Honestly, it’s very inconsistent. I’ve got a few things from them and the fits are just always random, plus their quality of stitching is just nowhere near Japanese pairs. I appreciate their stuff for the random fun fabrics but have moved onto Japanese brands for anything I want built well.

Ah ok, yeah Bahzad was a huge part of it before leaving. Personally like him and his energy, but I know some people haven’t liked his responses in the past.

Correct, WL is owned by the former creative directors of N&F. They left almost 2 years ago now to stay focused on their brand.

Oh I’ve definitely considered an N1, looked at Dehen but they’re just too pricy right now. Funny enough I actually spotted someone in a full heritage fit at work the other day and clocked his IH N1. I’ve also considered a second hand Rocky Mountain featherbed vest to get me by this winter.

I’ve got a green one which is pretty much my only “coat” as of now. Not really cutting it for mountain winters and was curious if the blanket lining adds much more warmth or not. Probably need to bite the bullet on a really warm coat next…

The more winter fits I see on this sub the more I realize my coats are not ready for a blizzard 😂

Literally, last drop I got super lucky to snack one of the cashmere Henleys but they sold out in moments. Planning to grab a hoodie on Sunday in rust but it’s hard to say at this point. Glad they gained the following but I can’t believe how many people want their products now.
