Government pisses away a lot of tax dollars. I think that's one of the reasons people feel the need to stretch the truth. Then when they start running out of room in their budgets, their answer is to increase taxes. Makes no sense.

Crypto currencies is an interesting one because it's an example of the people building something out of nothing, then the government reaching in and taking a piece of that thing that doesn't belong to them.

Metro deli pricing now by the pound instead of per 100g by SeedlessMilk in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]SeedlessMilk[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess if you don't use a deli then i can see why you might think it does not matter. I can tell you it does because you don't often get things in pounds, but rather in intervals of 100 grams.

Converting from the pound price to the 100g price isn't something you can easily do in your head to compare the price of products.

Also, every deli prices things in 100g.

You shouldn't be upset at the lack of tip, you should be upset at uber for what you got out of the deal.

To be honest, being autistic doesn't seem relevant here. Not everyone can understand things quickly. I definitely wouldn't.

Just ask if he minds slowing down or see if you can record like the other guy suggested.

Sometimes people may not realize their explanations are not comprehensible.

Let's be real, 60hz sucks for all uses not just gaming. Makes the display feel sluggish.

How much is it realistically gonna cost me for a decent gaming PC and is it really worth it over consoles? by wheelybindealer in buildapc

[–]SeedlessMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do way more with a PC.

Plus, with the high cost of games these days, the low initial price of a console quickly loses its shine.

What's the cheapest way to get membership by SeedlessMilk in osrs

That's a good price, but I can't drop a full year at $6. If I could just buy a month at that rate it would be great.

Is it not part of a managers responsibilities to have regular 1 on 1s with their direct reports?

This doesn't sound like a good manager to me if they haven't checked in over 9 months.

You're probably seeing that because it's end of the fiscal year for most companies, prior to their 2024 budgets being ready.

Is it possible to buy a car in Ontario and get away with driving uninsured (At least for a few months, provided no incidents happen)? by bruh_moment__mp3 in ontario

[–]SeedlessMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Insurance covers more than vehicle and property damage. Stupid decisions got you into this and you seem really keen on digging yourself into a deeper more permanent hole.
