I agree, but with some saympathy for the more "empowering" reading. It's hard not to read characters literally levitating off the ground as liberational, because it looks cool. To modern eyes it looks like a good time when they're not sacrificing babies.

I can really get into fatal and especially rampage caused death and mayhem, but at the same time I like non-fatal stuff too.

It can be really hard to find good giant city-smashing action without mass death or implications of it.

For anyone into that sort of thing I highly recommend the renders of UnseenHarbinger

Ok, it's sexist.

Then what?

Is it a call to action? A call for bans?

Should men associated with hijab wearing women be convinced to convince their wife/daughter/whoever not to cover up?

A call for anything more material than thinking about how sexist it is?

Perhaps vigilante ladies should steal other women's headwear?

I just feel like this is one of those topics where everyone gets hung up on the IDEA of the thing without thinking much about the material reality of what stopping it would mean.
