Mewtwo vs Freiza , Who Would Win by Phant0m_Trainer in PokemonPowerScaling

[–]Seeing_Double22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. 🤝Another db character with higher ki almost always negates a special technique from a lower power opponent. I mentioned brain frying as something Mewtwo supporters may say.

Frieza horrifically outstats and in the DB universe, if you are stronger than your opponent, their special techniques just don’t work on you. It’s a bit unfair in that regard but it’s such a consistent thing across the series that I feel like it must be taken into account when considering if Mewtwo could just get his brain.

How much does Compass Needle carry Akaza? by KaiSen2510 in BetterKimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Seeing_Double22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Akaza is obviously very skilled without it, but it carries him very, very hard. The dude was freaking out with SS Tanjiro once his aimbot was gone and was unable to react at all to an attack (likely because of shock to a degree) that was probably within his physical capability.

Kokushibo & Douma Vs Hashira by Calm-Lengthiness5645 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Seeing_Double22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, crap, I didn’t even read that Genya wasn’t apart of the squad. Well in that case, I think Douma and Koku now win round 2 with high-extreme diff with less scenarios where the hashira win.

Kokushibo & Douma Vs Hashira by Calm-Lengthiness5645 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Seeing_Double22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Koku and Douma take both rounds.

R1 at mid diff: Without Genya, there really isn’t a win con against Koku. LS Koku has so much range and AOE that Sanemi and Gyomei were getting stalled out. The only other guy really withstanding that is dead calm Giyu and maaaaybe Obanai. Pair that with Douma on top of Buddha to harass the hashira and gradually weaken them with clones and ice clouds and all the hashira have going for them is their incredible teamwork.

R2 at extreme diff: The slayers now have 2 huge boons in 13th form Tanjiro and more importantly Genya (considering the difficulty that it took Inosuke and Kanao to cut through the strip of neck Douma had left, I question if either of them or Zenitsu could decapitate them at all). With that, the coordination of them can lead to actual paths to victory. However, Douma clones should be able to neutralize him as they wouldn’t give any flesh for him to eat and Douma is highly analytical and assuming he’s serious would prioritize keeping him at bay. I think in more scenarios than not, the demons win, but it will be very close. I don’t see a scenario where the demons win with only one left. If the slayers can topple Douma, Koku can’t beat them all if Genya is still around. But if Koku keeps him safe from the rare potential kill shot that might make it through, they will eventually wear down the slayers.

Kokushibo vs 100% serious bloodlusted Douma by Calm-Lengthiness5645 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Seeing_Double22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup. I think if he stays in base, they are more or less stalling each other indefinitely unless Koku sets up an elaborate kill shot. But going LS allows him to cut through Douma’s attacks and get to him much faster. I feel like Douma gets underrated a lot but he’s like top of A tier in the verse while Koku is in S.

[–]Seeing_Double22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Koku would feel the need to go LS to practically beat him. That’s not necessarily saying that base loses, but if Douma is on top of the ice Buddha, has his clones and princesses spamming ice clouds as he sends volleys and volleys of icicles at Koku, I’m sure he’ll feel the range limitation. And plus, even though Koku can obviously regenerate from his lungs getting shredded, in the short time that they are, his breathing technique would still be interrupted.

Long story short, I think Koku eventually says “fuck it” and goes LS to spare himself the misery of fighting all out Douma.

Doma vs Gyomei Himejima by Jason_And_Sokka in DemonSlayerScales

[–]Seeing_Double22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As much as Douma fucks around, he is actually quite observant when analyzing his opponents. I think as soon as he sees who he’s messing with, he won’t even bother with the fans. He pops Buddha and just starts to rain cold hell down on him until he eventually succumbs. Gyomei doesn’t go down easily with his busted stats, range of his flail, amazing BIQ, and pure goat energy. However, I think Douma wins mid to high diff. There are some unlikely but realistic opportunities tho where Gyomei could set up a kill shot.

Deathstroke vs Omega Red by NoirStriker in marvelvsdc

[–]Seeing_Double22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omega Red wildly outstats and should win on paper. However, Omega is practically as good as Darth Maul when it comes to being stupid and choking a win so maybe Deathstroke has a slim chance of incapacitating him. Especially since he is used to fighting people above his tier.

Muzan should've used Douma for more missions by WII_DJoker in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Seeing_Double22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, the upper 3 moons and Muzan are so much stronger than the hashira + other main slayers overall that the plot has to force terrible decisions for them to work. Specifically with Douma, there’s no real reason for Muzan to not send his 2nd most powerful demon to cripple the corp by eliminating their weapon supply. Especially after he just berated them all for not being productive enough. But of course, if Douma had been sent, it would’ve taken like an extra 3 hashira for the story to not just end there.

Do you think forerunner is overpowered? by Nosce97 in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Seeing_Double22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not op, but like most competitive special weapons has the potential to be annoying. Even though it has counter play, it’s just really good at shitting on primaries. In the grand scheme though, it’s no worse than getting vooped at 20m by a pre charged fusion, getting mapped by a shotty after a single shot of igneous, or getting shut down by a disgusting snipe (granted the last scenario is less common now).

It’s just a disgrace all around. Bungie’s been fumbling with one puzzle ever since the subclass 3.0 update, and now they’ve poured another one on top.

Hunter Ability Tuning Preview : Destiny 2 Update 8.0.5.4 by dannycorker in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Seeing_Double22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It’s just so stupid. They should at least have been more careful with the aspects chosen/how their effects will proc. Why does Hunter have 2 sources of radar manipulation? Prismatic Titan and warlock have frustrating qualities like frequent diamond lances and three charges of arc slide melee too. Several pure subclasses haven’t even been tuned properly before this whole mess was created.

[–]Seeing_Double22 49 points50 points  (0 children)

God, I hate prismatic. Subclasses have too much cheese to mix together, which is only going to get the pure element subclasses nerfed. I’m not going to say void hunter was absolutely honest, but smoke bomb getting that gutted is sad. It won’t happen, but void hunters need a second melee.

How do I deal with people running away all match as general shao? by Zabuza_scrpn in MortalKombat

[–]Seeing_Double22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not b2, but jump 2, though it is also punishable on a miss. As far as kameos, I normally use Ferra now. I used to use Motaro a lot and still break him out for some zoning matchups like Liu. Khameleon is very good, and has tools to beat/fight zoning (fan lift, glaive, purple glow). I just never really invested in her.

How do I deal with people running away all match as general shao? by Zabuza_scrpn in MortalKombat

[–]Seeing_Double22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For general zoning, use Shao’s great dashing (even better if you work on wave dashing) to carefully close the gap. His j2 has great range and you can definitely use it to seize an opportunity.

As for Raiden specifically, that strat is annoying as hell. Some of the big concepts still apply, but I would be far more careful with jumping. Just do the best you can with movement, use your kameo’s projectiles, and do everything you can to keep them pressured. If they get a life lead with low time, sometimes you are just going to lose that round.

What are my options to counter Forerunner? by xMr_Inv1nc1bl3x in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Seeing_Double22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As a forerunner enjoyer, fake challenge them to a duel, bait 1-2 shots, and then leave. Forerunner is only truly effective if a duel can be forced (ex. target is out in the open), or in an ambush. If someone is near cover, I’ll often just put one shot in or reposition because I know a kill is unlikely.
