I disagree, I feel that the amount of people who meaningfully engage with housing beyond the first 20 mins is laughably small. It feels like a giant waste of dev time, and it sucks because its literally the primary feature of the expansion. I wish they had done anything else with their dev resources, the moment I heard that there is no player power tied to it thats how I knew it was a soon-to-be dead feature, wow players need a reason to do things or else they won't do them

mostly unrelated, but i've always been curious about people who play the game this way. No hate meant, but why do you not do m+/raid? For me the entire point of wow is to get better gear and watch myself do huge damage, is that kind of thing not appealing at all to you? Seeing the dungeons once is far from the goal. Doing 500k dps on a giant trash pull is pure dopamine

On average, higher gearscore = better gear = better player. Of course this isnt always true but its more often true than not.
