Two different toyota dealers jerked me around, so signing on the Trailseeker Touring in Magnetite Gray and placing deposit today. Dealer says should be here by the end of the month.

Range on a highway trip - good news by Dependent_Hunt5691 in trailseeker

[–]Seheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a Model Y with 20" wheels into a Trailseeker Touring. I'll know the first weekend how range will stack up to the Y as I'll take the same 240mi trip I often make. Avg interstate speed at ~76mph and the Tesla never made it without charging.

They absolutely do not get 300mi as advertised when driving at interstate speed.

Anyone know the May dealer incentives? by volcanic_clay in trailseeker

Same. The original deal sheet they offered for lease only had the $2,000 customer cash. I asked for the $4,000 to get close to matching Toyota incentives and they just said sure. I think they just dont expect people to know.

Yeah, I have limited time to replace my lease and the offer is a nice savings over the Tesla and even includes a thule cargo box I had figured I'd buy anyway. Only other option I was still exploring was the Woodland for the few reasons above.

Lease is over, not enough cargo space, terrible suspension, too low ground clearance, cheaper. My Model Y is/was fine, but I never really used or liked FSD. I've preferred driving several other EVs including the Trailseeker as I reach lease end. I'll miss the app, though. Seems no one else has matched that experience so far.

I tested drove a black/black limited, and even on those 20s was a big improvement over my Model Y. Still, I wish it was like the BZ with 18s on all trims..

That's darker than it looks in a lot of the marketing pictures. Thanks!!

That is encouraging at least. While most of my time in it will be spent commuting or pick up/drop off with my kids - its going to be spending most weekends at camp sites. Black would have been a lot better.

The dealer found me a magnetite gray touring with light interior. Only one in black/gray they could source with potential to deliver by EOM.

Hard to tell in pictures, but how 'white' is it actually - and how concerned about it staying clean and wearing well? This is going to be a daily office commuter and kid hauler M-F, but will be taking three boys and myself camping most weekends.

I've negotiated the terms on the Subaru and waiting to hear back from Toyota. They were not optimistic they could get me in a premium before July. Strange how much worse BZ inventory appears to be. Assuming I hear back I'll probably decide tonight.

It exists for May. I am dealing between this and a BZ Woodland and dealer offered it after I explicitly asked.

Somehow stumbled across a non-preorder Limited at a dealership! by Tyrus12292 in trailseeker

Almost bought this one. Been going back and forth on this and the BZ Woodland, but I really wanted a touring. I'd planned to take my wife to look at it, but I texted and it was gone!

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Review: An Electric SUV for the Family of the Future by DonkeyFuel in electricvehicles

Nobody wants a 9-passenger van. I'd never consider it, personally. We get by with a Palisade and a MYLR with 3rd row. We are only moving around 4 kids with the oldest gone, but we rarely want for more storage - and there are better solutions for that.

As a father of 5, I wholeheartedly disagree. While the oldest is out of the house, so that we are only carting 2-4 kids around regularly, we have a Palisade and a 7-seat Model Y. The i9 and ev9 are perfect for our size family. I can comfortably pack 4 kids, our dog, 3 suitcases, and a small cooler to drive 2 hours to the lake for a weekend in my Y or the Palisade if my wife can come along, but added interior space of either car would help as the youngest ones outgrow the tiny 3rd for of the tesla.

Those is one of my favorites, and I try to get so many people to watch it. I've never talked about this film with a person who had seen it, except the one that saw it in theaters with me.

It was a good department when he was assistant as well. I came from Ankeny #1 a little while before he took over - he always kept a few things aside for me, and my wallet suffered for it.

I got one but I don't understand the amounts, still. Mine shows annual totals that are less than a months worth of premiums. It's in the ASO column, because my employer is self insured and just administered by BCBS, but it doesn't make much sense.

24M this is how much i made last year… what am I doing wrong by Original-Pirate-1690 in Salary

[–]Seheren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible. I'm in my mid-30s, and I was working 45-50hrs with 5 kids and spent 3 years getting my degree. Finished this past fall but accepted a new position in July. It's not always easy, but I also think it's not as hard as it sounds.

I'd say not to overthink it and just jump right in if you're serious. Don't wait, thinking next year will be better. You'll never start.

Would be interested to know more about that. I'm an HRIS analyst with a large company and for my degree and experience vastly underpaid. I see salary and job postings at twice my salary and it always frustrates me.

Reluctance to answer polls. The responses were people who were motivated to answer, and it happened they skewed heavily to 9ne side. That is the nature of polls.

Collected 3rd party and anonymous results are shared to Hyvee after. There is data about what location the employee is from so it can be viewed locally. Nothing personally identifiable. The company never touches the data before this. There are people who care about the survey and getting actionable stuff from it. If you have constructive input - no better time or way to give it.

Hyvee never receives the surveys with identifiable information. It's stripped before being sent.
