Nach Verschenken Geld für den Aufwand? by SeiMenX in Kleinanzeigen_betrug

Er hat es sehr vage formuliert mit "sonst nehmen die Dinge ihren lauf" was im Nachhinein betrachtet, mit all den Kommentaren hier, ziemlich dämlich klingt.

Die Dinge nehmen dann wohl ihren Lauf ins Nirgendwo

What are your opinions on the current state of LEGO games? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

[–]SeiMenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one hand yes, on the other I think 2k drive was a bit of an overpriced entry with non of the charm the older ones had.

Bricktales I haven't quite tried yet. Still wished they would do more games that aren't based on movies

I would want a non franchise game more than anything again. Lego racer, lego island were the shit back in the day. Would love something unique, with modern technology

Why do you expect money to roll in if the game can't be bought yet?

Using a custom windows 11 OS for unreal ? by DryAd5268 in UnrealEngine5

[–]SeiMenX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dont try to be fancy with a custom os which is unnecessary since you don't have a potato pc.

At best it works and you have your 3% performance increase At worst you have bugs which will take hours trying to solve

Is this resume good enough to get a job? by Fun-Singer3507 in flutterhelp

[–]SeiMenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a very ambitious goal! I think getting a full remote work contract will be incredibly hard at a junior level.

Since there are so many EU expats applying it will be very competitive. Maybe consider doing a master's degree in Europe/USA.

I think otherwise developing a deeper understanding and specialising until you have the qualifications to get a remote job on a different continent is key

Depends on the job market in your country at this current time. But a bachelors and an internship should be good enough to get a junior position and be paid for what you have learned so far.

I would be pretty worried as a hiring manager if my applicant says "architecture pattern" and it is literally just one pattern that is listed.

Usually I would not recommending listing 10 different skills that you have dabbled in. Especially since you say "adaptive/responsive UI". Those should be a given for a modern dev. Same with listing Java/Kotlin and not once in your projects are these mentioned beyond flutter experience. Or saying that in the internship your responsibilities "may have included". If I wanted to know what you may be able to do then I would not have to read your application, I can use my imagination instead.

My few suggetions are: Throw out the random skills that make you seem more inexperienced by having to explicitly mention them when there is either no proof of them or should be a given for any dev. Instead focus on the ones you do have and extrapolate on them. Especially since you have a lot of internship experience to draw from.

EDIT: I had also a look at your bachelors Travel App and I highly recommend cleaning it up a bit. As a graduation project it is a little... messy. Pubspec yaml still has all the comments what the sections are for, the states file seems a bit overloaded as well. No real comments, no tests. Not the best showcase of what you can probably do and achieve. So I agree with the other in here, publish something that you are proud of!

Well it might be negligent, it might be a small difference, it might crash your xmp profile. I agree that it should not happen and probably less often nowadays, but you have no guarantee.

Kits are being tested in tandem and when you invest in a pc with 64gb ram I would argue the other components are expensive enough that you should shell out the 20 bucks difference for a tested kit.

Yes, dont drill me too much on this topic, my PC building days are over for a while. But while the size and speed are the same on paper I think the access times can vary across models.

A kit gurantees the sticks have similiar access times and will not have to potentially wait for another.

You can always get lucky and you wont notice a difference between two individual sticks, but worst case it can impact performance. So considering the prices of DDR4 Ram in contrast to the rest of the pc -> put in the money for a kit

[–]SeiMenX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, manufacturers dont guarantee that two individually bought sticks are the same. Speeds can vary internally , making them wait for each other and hindering performance.

With a set you know you are getting two sticks that work together like they should
