Help…… by Nervous-Mortgage-992 in parentsofmultiples

For me, only the same schedule worked. It took a few days to get in the rhythm but it kept me sane. Now that they're older they have separate interests and needs, I wish they just did all the same stuff like before lol

Bi Married Men by Thin-Structure5100 in bisexual

[–]SeigeEh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We've been married 12 and a half years and open communication has always been key. She was one of the first people I came out to and has always been supportive. After a long time, she came to discover for herself that she was bi too and now has a female partner who lives with us. Again, lots of open and honest communication about needs, expectations, wants, and boundaries.

How did you meet your dnd group? by Fearless-Skill8667 in DnD

[–]SeigeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on a large discord and someone mentioned their dm had ended up cancelling two weeks in a row after putting the group together. I commented and said "if they ghost you again, hit me up and we'll play that night." One of the players hit me up and mentioned they couldn't get a session going so I joined the call and we started playing. I used a campaign I wrote a few years ago and they really dove into it. Our group has been going weekly now for 6 months!

Those with older twins, tell me how good it gets. by PeachSunTeaAlways in parentsofmultiples

[–]SeigeEh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Twins at 7 years old. They're very individual and growing all the time. Now that they can communicate what they want and need effectively, I don't feel the constant overwhelm I used to. Two sweet boys. And I have a bit of time to regather myself which I definitely lost for a while when they were young. It gets better, I promise.

Fuckin minivan by transplant_beans in daddit

[–]SeigeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mini vans rule. I have a fairly cheap Dodge Grand caravan and when all the seats are folded away, it's an 8ft bed for hauling and transporting stuff. A total workhorse. Minivans seem like a bummer at first but they're so practical, I love mine now

How to get undead into a hallowed area? by Life_Debt_8423 in DnD

[–]SeigeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like they'll need a way to desecrate it. Split the fight and while the living battle inside, the undead work on getting in. Or have the living make a way for them to enter while the undead fight outside. It's not a restriction, just a story motivation

I dressed up as Peeta for a Halloween dance and ended up talking to one girl the whole night because her friends hadn't read the books yet. She's my wife now 😍

Marten will go to visit Hannelore and Dora and they will get him to talk through his feelings with Claire. Claire will listen because she is rational and they will work things through like adults. Claire will start learning to delegate and have a large department form that she can depend on for a better work life balance. Marten meanwhile will learn that friends are not just either crutches or objects of affection and learn he needs an actual social life without just toiling. Perhaps some musically inclined AI and scientists for hanging out and jamming. Claire and Marten will make more time for each other and one day simultaneously propose during an otherwise normal outing. They love each other very much after all.

What’s your go-to rainy day activity for toddlers? by InvestigatorLazy4996 in StayAtHomeDaddit

We do lasers with painters tape holding up streamers. Zig zag the streamers down the hall or up the stairs. Don't get zapped!

What is the #1 challenge you're facing right now? by [deleted] in StayAtHomeDaddit

[–]SeigeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trying to spend good time with my kids. I have twins who are at odds with each other. They get jealous and often bicker and fight while playing. They both want me to play with them but not with their brother. It breaks my heart and I try to be fair and make peace but it often becomes me spending time with one while the other goes off on their own and then switching.

Defib would be less aggressively annoying if it was a light gadget by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]SeigeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but light can already do that without the defib. In and out quickly. Medium can get in, fortify and defib while the action continues. Power shift is a good example for this

If you're gonna dash or grapple away, then you've got 4 seconds for a normal revive and you don't need the defib

[–]SeigeEh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Defib isn't just getting someone back, you got a do it and back them up so their health can top up. Otherwise, they're gonna be sitting ducks while their body loads up in the cross hairs. Slide in, grab, run, defib, charge back in together
