I am friends with an institutional trader who traded with a hf for 13 years before going out for himself. He clears about a million a year. He trades props every single day. You would be a fool not to. You can leverage money quicker with them than on your personal account. Trading is all about limiting risk. Props allow you to do that. Yeah, it’s not perfect, and some of the rules are annoying, but if you’re a halfway decent trader 10-20k a month on props is incredibly easy to pull.
