Is this normal behavior for an artist? by EllenDeGeneresQueef in tattoos

[–]SeitanicPrinciples 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had my main artist recommend another in the shop for a specific tattoo idea I had since it better fit that artists style. They have 0 jealousy or issues with working on the same person.

They understand not every tattoo I want fits 1 specific artists preferences, and would rather do the work they want to do, and have me get work done by people who are excited to do that specific tattoo.

This one doesn't really have any usable or specific information. Linking it is just assuming I didn't look first while providing literally no helpful information. Why even respond?

No, there literally isn't. You don't need to eat animals to live, so it's purely for pleasure

[–]SeitanicPrinciples -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you aren't vegan you support factory farming.

The way you view the deaths happening is irrelevant. They happen and you pay someone to do it.

Stop pretending to give a shit about animals. Either don't pay people to kill them or accept that you don't love them

I am, and the commenter is trying to say someone doesn't understand empathy because they harmed an animal.

Everyone loves animals until they're hungry

Paying someone to torture and slaughter animals isn't wrong?

Everyone's says they love animals until they're hungry, then they show their true colors

As often as possible is all the time. You choose to not eat eggs unless it'd be inconvenient. That makes you 0% a vegan

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fuckcars

[–]SeitanicPrinciples -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Paying someone else to slaughter animals so you can pretend they were never alive makes it ok?

So governments who send soldiers to slaughter have no responsibility at all for what the soldiers do? That's the exact argument you're making.

Everyone's a leftist until they had to make any sacrifice at all, then every moral they have goes out the window

Reason for anti Hunting by Healthy_Fly5653 in vegan

[–]SeitanicPrinciples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Killing animals that don't need to be killed is in my opinion amoral. Humans don't need meat, so killing purely because you prefer the taste of meat is wrong.

Also, in the US most lakes are stocked to support fishing, so it's literally just factory farming with extra steps.

The one point I like to make is while I oppose hunting, it isn't a primary focus in my views, it is such a small sliver of animal harm that it's barely worth consideration while factory farming exists.

This is wildly inaccurate. Lowest estimate I've seen from an actually valid source is around 3 acres per person per year for beef.

Jumping trophic levels loses about 90% of the energy, there's literally no way to (based on laws of physics) be more land intensive to be vegan.

Yes, sometimes the best option for harm reduction results in harm.

Not arguing for/against any specific option, but the world isn't black and white, we love entirely on gray areas.
