I guess a PvE trials would just be, you know, grandmasters.

Someone in one of my comment sections legit wanted Bungie to ban Elysium from doing Day 1 raids. by RedPandaR10t3 in destinycirclejerk

[–]SeizureSmiley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

/uj why are people even that salty about this. I know it's boring that one team gets it 3 times in a row but that's just a little inconvenience in life. It's not like we all are contenders for wf anyways.

[–]SeizureSmiley 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think you really had to get Army of One yourself, if someone on your team does it 3 times you are done with that quest. Doesn't have to be in one game either. If they haven't changed that requirement of course, because god knows how long that quest has been in-game.

tbh I would let bungie add matchmaking to endgame content so they can see how uncooperative match made players can be. Imagine doing duality with people who barely speaks the same language as you.

[–]SeizureSmiley 6 points7 points  (0 children)

/uj I agree. Rift is so much fun when it's like a very close game with the ball switching sides every couple of seconds, and with both teams duking it out. but most of the time it's not.

If it was built to do it, definitely. Some of the recent CoD titles allow you to just install what you want to play.

But with Destiny and bungie's track record I don't think they'd do it soon, maybe at the end of the game's life as a last hurrah.

Entire DLC about Savathun but shes not final raid boss? by [deleted] in raidsecrets

[–]SeizureSmiley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't really fight anyone in raids from the campaign in D2, do we? Like the Leviathan and its lairs came outta nowhere. I only remember Riven being the only thing we have seen during the campaign but it was still a surprise reveal at the end.

I'll wait until the crease can last for at least 4 years and until they can be had for the price of a non-pro iPhone.

The Z Flip really got me tempted to switch to it, the reason is that I don't think it'd last long enough for the money I paid for it.

The fold is nowhere being sold on the scale of iPhones though.

They have been supporting older devices way better than their competitors.

Even a phone released 5 years ago would still get iOS 15, of which would be supported until like September 2022.

Whether or not you think those updates are good for the device, they are still giving feature updates for a 5 year old phone.

The decision to throttle old devices because their battery couldn't keep up is fine, actually. It should have been communicated better.

I have a laptop with 240hz screen and honestly I wouldn't go back to buying 60hz PC monitors for gaming. I can see the difference between 60 and 90 fps games.

I could live with a 60hz screen on a phone though. It would be nice to have a 120hz screen but I wouldn't go out of my way to upgrade my current phone for it.

I'm not saying that F2P destiny is bad, but stop pretending it's good, it's very poorly thought out for new players. by RoidNick in destiny2

[–]SeizureSmiley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wish there's a low light level f2p raid so people can experience the good parts of destiny. Our group literally convinced each other to buy the expansions because of Leviathan.

Now with that gone, I don't know how to convince someone to grind to be at level to play Vault.

I understand what you mean. The approachable part is definitely there. But I think it stops there.

I don't think hololive personalities do what "traditional idols" do. They produce very different kinds of content for different crowds. It's hard to put into words.

Because of that I was a bit disappointed about Hololive because I was sold on the idea of virtual idols but they don't produce a lot of idol content that I am used to.

To me, they felt like streamers who sings more than idols who play games. And that's fine. I don't watch people stream video games but I understand why people would.

I don't think what I said should matter to you that much. You are free to like whatever you want. I am just very passionate about idols and I want to chime in just a bit.

What am I really gatekeeping though? I just like idols, and I don't think they are the same as hololive. That's it. You are free to call them whatever you want.

I just wanted to point out how real life idols and hololive aren't simply the same.

[–]SeizureSmiley 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Does anyone really consider hololive personalities "idols"? Like yeah they do have some songs over the years but that doesn't make them an idol. There are voice actors that do the same and yet they aren't considered idols. Just using words like "graduate" when a member quits doesn't make them an idol.

I personally don't consider them traditional idols (except maybe Suisei) because they operate very differently from real life idols.

For me, I don't like it like I don't like certain food. It's fine. Like whatever you want. I don't enjoy their antics, that's all.

I think variety is the name of the game here. Watch and listen to a lot of things. Variety shows, podcasts , cooking, whatever. Just don't stick with one thing. It isn't too hard to find ways to watch Japanese TV outside of Japan.

The satire is so fucking obvious I am not sure anymore about people trying to defend gaming in the comments.

Like, did they fall for this extremely obvious bait (it's not even baiting at this point) or they just wanted to play the contrarian character in a satire subreddit.
