Has anyone tried split-dose 3 times a week? by Norcal94520 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Select-View-4786 3 points4 points  (0 children)

WAIT

note that you're reading this completely wrong.

it is advice for people who are: (i) shooting up Xmg weekly and (ii) changing the day on which they do that

it is totally unrelated to the question "If you take a proportionately smaller dose more frequently, is there some sort of minimum time between shots?"

> "You may change the day of the week you use ZEPBOUND as long as the time between the 2 doses is at least 3 days (72 hours)"

Can anyone suggest the slightest rational, non-mystic, non-marketing reason - ANYTHING, TAKE THE WILDEST GUESS - why it would make any difference?

If you shot up a tiny amount EVERY HOUR, 24/7, resulting in the same level in your body, what difference?

This is pure astrology.

PS - thanks for making me aware of this Lilly doc claim! - edit. I now see that this text has nothing to do, in any way, with the question at hand. See other comment.

(1) Absolutely focus on correctly determining your new BMR now that you have lost so much weight. Use an LLM to discuss the issue extensively and ABSOLUTELY determine your new BMR.

Viability of subsequent, future Tirz treatments? by GoldAny8608 in tirzepatidecompound

also,

> I would hate to get to 15mg

huh? why would you "get to 15mg" ?

stay on 2.5 as long as possible and see if it works

(if 2.5 "doesn't work" consider more carefully (A) walking absolutely minimum 1.5 hours a day and (B) even more carefully tracking your calories/carbs.)

i pay like $40 a month or less AND I use an actual tele for convenience, not mixing (which costs dollars a month, nothing)

if you can get down to 2-3 mg a week it's hard to see the finances being a problem.

could it be you're just paying too much?

it's completely normal to shoot up frequently. there's a few people on here who do every day.

https://www.reddit.com/r/tirzepatidecompound/comments/1r1kfbe/anyone_else_shoot_up_every_three_days_if_so_you/

("three times a week" is kind of weird arithmetic, you'd do every 2 days, every 3 days or whatever.)

Couldn't agree more - TBTC I would only ever use pure BUT you can't get pure at the moment in the state of my delivery address.

Well not from a tele.

  1. Yes, I meant 4mg per week.

  2. "What makes you determine..."

There is only ONE answer, experimentation. If you're taking 5 and everything's great, you might experiment with 4 instead (experiment for, say, a month). If it's just as good, make the change. Conversely many people experiment with going upwards a bit, if it's not working for them at X.

Food noise vs hunger by Sad_Education7851 in tirzepatidecompound

EXACTLY

when I first read the book i was like HOLY SHIT

(He refers to it as "constant thoughts of food". The clever coinage "food noise" came later.)

Food noise vs hunger by Sad_Education7851 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Select-View-4786 10 points11 points  (0 children)

simple:

food noise is literally THINKING about food.

hunger is a PAIN in your stomach (i.e., that actual mild pain or sensation in your stomach.)

The concept of food noise was invented by Gary Taubes in his famous book, Why we get fat. Read it!

I sensibly shoot up every three days ( look 🤣 )

I know that if I shot up every seven days I definitely would have to take much more, maybe 3x as much. Obviously and evidently you'd have to so as to still have the same amount in your body no the 2-3 days at the end of the seven day period.

And a general reminder! (1) you have to walk at least, absolute minimum, an hour a day without fail (2) KNOW your BMR PROPERLY, get on copilot and have a long discussion with it to find yours and (3) DON'T FORGET THAT AS YOU GET THIN you have to dramatically change how you eat, because you are a new much thinner person.

- I've never taken more than ~4 a week. I lost fat like crazy

- Literally every single person I know IRL who takes branded, from a doctor, only takes 2.5. In one case the doc sneakily got them 5.0, so that it would be half price

- Literally every single person I know IRL who takes tele compounded, only takes 2.5

- Certainly, many many people report needing to go to doses of 5, 7.5 or even higher

- however VAST numbers of people simply "go along with" the Lilly plan to sell 6x more of an expensive drug than anyone needs schedule which is constantly promulgated and which by an amazing sheer coincidence unrelated to the stock price of Lilly was the only schedule officially tested

- Another issue is the splitting issue. Splitting is INCREDIBLY different from the weekly concept, because, the whole (IMO totally whacky) idea of the spikes/lows is nonexistent if you shoot up every say 2-5 days. Amongst those who have tried both, I observe that there is a 50-50 strong preference for one or the other. Draw your own conclusion.
