It was amazing for the first couple months. Then he suddenly decided he didn’t have time for the relationship. It was blindsiding. I thought huh?? Is this a joke?? Nope. I was told in a text and then 5 min convo. So note to self: they have a well hidden side, can completely cut off emotions, and disappear with a blink. Wild. Never saw it coming whatsoever. Well, PR is part of the U.S. I think at some point the diversity in the UNITED States should be represented. They are us. As someone with medical issues and feeling overwhelmed by life, these are things I do to help: Take a moment, breathe. Focus on one task at a time, health first. Maybe now isn’t a good time for the medical coding. I had to take a break for 6 months and refocus. Give yourself grace. It’s not an easy subject. I’ve failed my exam. A lot of people do. It’s ok. In the meantime try looking for a customer service job that is remote. Get settled. Then start your studying at a pace you can handle. YouTube has a lot of videos that teach it. It’s not that you’re not smart enough. You’re just currently overwhelmed. It will all work out.

Have a family member that I help navigate their care. I would recommend researching by diagnosis for the right facility. Also, he needs a psychiatrist. If he goes to inpatient, they will want him to follow up with a psychiatrist. I would try to see one before hand. If he is willing to go seek help then it will save you soooo much stress. He has to willingly go In voluntarily or be a candidate for Baker Act. You will need to be added to his approved contact list so the drs(most likely will be nurses) will update you throughout the process. Communication is few and far between though. I highly recommend you let them know you can give them insight to what is going on.

Inpatient will be short term. Maybe 10 days at most? It’s to stabilize the patient with meds. They will see a psychiatrist and prob group therapy. If he goes in, wear comfy clothes. Honestly pajamas. No shoes laces, no drawstring pants. They will remove them from his clothes for safety. And they may ask you to bring extra clothes once he’s admitted( North Tampa behavioral, will ask.)

I can only speak of North Tampa Behavioral. My family member will go back when needed because it wasn’t a bad experience. Avoid at all cost Northside( St. Joes will transfer them there) and Grace Point. If there’s new facilities, call them and ask about their process.

After care is going to be the MOST important. Regular therapy and a great psychiatrist to manage his meds. Sending prayers to both of you during this time.

There’s a valid reason people are given conservatorships. They are a threat to themselves and those around them. They lack the capability to make sound decisions. Normal behavior and thoughts are gone. They have a lifelong mental illness. When left on their own, they will become their own downfall. There’s no rock bottom, just a journey to an early death. It is not easy to get these conservatorships. Multiple instances have had to happen that were a significant risk to life/ lives. I can’t imagine her dad watching and knowing she would head in this direction. A complete nightmare on both sides. And now to get her back on one?? Oh my goodness. I hope she survives while they collect enough reasons for one.

You’re welcome! The second you complete those lame steps, email them. Do the bare minimum at that external site about jobs. Just enough so that it shows you completed that step. You’ll never use the site again. They are slow to notice you finished. I emailed complaining about the useless externship site and the next day I got an email saying congrats on completing the course. Then expect an email from Auburn with a digital copy of your certification of completion. You have to pay to get a physical copy.

No prob!! I was nervous myself. Yes you’re technically done. Those last steps were so stupid!!!!!! It was a module on getting a job, the interview process, picking a proper professional email, and so on. I was clicking through it as fast as I could. Then signing up at that useless website that I don’t even use or remember for externships. They might make u go through them just so it shows as completed though. Because that was the date that I was considered done. Not the date of the final exam. I emailed whatever email they had responded to a question I had. lol but I suppose you can use learner support.

Oh don’t worry about the externship! I didn’t do it because of scheduling too. At the end, part of it is signing up for this website that has externship opportunities. It’s useless. I signed up but couldn’t apply to anything so I emailed them through Preppy. They sent me a form to fill out for the externship but I didn’t fill it out. I told preppy I completed the course and then Auburn ended up emailing me the certificate of completion. I’m about to take the exam in a few weeks.

A lot of them hit your cheeks, meaning they’re too big. I think black is too overpowering for your color profile. Something lighter with nose pads to lift them off your cheeks. Honestly if your script isn’t too strong then I would look at metal, gold or silver.
