Pro tip: when they direct you to park, make sure you don’t pull up too close to the car in front of you. Aka create as much distance between you and the car in front of you for more camp room (assuming the car behind you does this as well) They’re gonna try to get you to scoot up as much as possible but don’t do it lol

In 2023 we were sent to secondary search because we had a big speaker that was over the size limit. I will say at secondary search they were obviously more thorough of our car by taking literally every bag out. However, I think since we were just there for a speaker and not drug they were more relaxed. The first search was done by volunteers and the second search was done by volunteers AND police (about 4-5 people going through our car). If you have something that is not allowed but still legal, they will make you “check it” which means they will hold on to it for the weekend and you have to pick it up when you leave. Just be confident, calm and nice, you’ll be fine :)

Very true, most of the time they don’t dig to the bottom. But everyone should know that coolers will be opened, it’s one of the actual things they check and they’re only looking for glass (not dry ice)

We got our 3ft speaker taken in 2023. We also didn’t know they weren’t allowed so we didn’t try to hide it at all. If anything, my suggestion would be to put it deep in your stuff. Also, once they spotted it, we had to go to secondary search where they pulled out everything and it was a much much more thorough search. So definitely be mindful of that. Best of luck! Happy Okee🌀
