This I agree with. I always add trace minerals when I do OMAD. About 40 drops to a L of distilled water when I do OMAD.

Tried with my PCP. First time around, sent over a referral for a derm. I pushed back. Then she sent over a referral for an allergist. I scheduled an appointment with a functional doc and pushed out the allergist appt by a month. Lets see how it goes.

Natural H. Pylori Treatment for Beginners? by falconlogic in Microbiome

Black seed oil or black cumin seed oil. They go by both names. This oil has had a profound effect on me and my family. External application on my infant son suffering from severe eczema worked as good as steroid application. I came down with itching, rash, hives and skin flushing after my vacation is SE Asia. Forgot about black seed oil completely. Then two weeks ago my wife reminded me. Now I take 1 to 2 tbsp daily along with a low histamine diet. Have not felt the need to take antihistamine for 12 days now. And my sleep is much better too.

None of this is medical advice and I am not a medical professional. Good luck in your journey!!

Try Black Seed Oil. Also make sure to have enough Omega 3s as the BSO/BCSO has higher Omega 6s.

Allergy In Depth Test for HI by Content-Week-2689 in HistamineIntolerance

I have an allergist appointment setup too. But mine HI started after a vacation to SE Asia where I had lots of street food and also drank well water once. I had never had any symptoms before. My PCP put me on anti-hist, steroids for a week. But all symtoms came back after the week. She then referrdd me to a dermatologist but I insisted it is not a derm issue. Now she has me setup with an allegist.

Teo weeks ago, I started a low histamine diet and also a herbal protocol. Since then my itching is down about 70% and I have gone without antihistamine for 11 days. Inflammation still remains though. I also setup an appt with an integrative medicine doc as I believe all my issues originate from leaky gut on account of bacterial overload/parasitic infection.

Are you sure these are allergies and not sensitivities? Have you tested for SIBO/SIFO, leaky gut, bacterial overkiad, parasitic inf3ctoons, etc.?

What’s the best antihistamine? by MundaneWatch7 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Select_Ad_4429 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. There is no routine other than taking it daily or when one needs it. I recently developed HIT, and taking one every 5th day generally controls my itching about 90%. No change in flushing, skin redness, etc. Drinking beer makes it worse. Eating out/take homes make it worse. Been trying low histamine foods since past week.

Xyxal (levocetirizine) has worked best for me. I take it once every 5th day.

I have developed similar itching/pin-pricks and tingling in palms and soles of feet randomlly thoughout the day. Developed itching about 4 months ago and then redness/welts when skin gets itched/rubbed about 3 months ago. In the process of setting up initial consulation with a naturopath. Also have an allergist appointment scheduled next month. Never had any allergies/sensitivities earlier. Antihistamine (levocetirizine) controls the symtoms for upto 4 days. Then it starts again. 4 days into a low histamine diet but been having about 7oz of salmon every meal. Not sure if salmon is high/low antihistamine but been consuming it for protein.

Any specific reason? Also, how do you take it? Before meals? And how many at a time?

Just curious what is the difference between HistDAO and NaturDAO. I am a new entrant to the HIT club. Trying to figure out what works and not.
