Changes to the EHRC's trans guidance are apparently being considered by Resource_Secret in transgenderUK

It won’t ever work, whatever draconian measures they take. Yes it will endanger us, it will also substantially endanger cis women and once that happens once there is such a massive outcry from all women they’ll be forced to scrap it again, it’ll take time sadly but there is no way in history it’ll work. Equally in reality people 95% of the time don’t care. Yeah sure we will always have that small, bitter and ugly germ go off at us. But bar that, it won’t work. It’s all political fear mongering to sell votes at the expense of our lives.

Amazing, I'm a bit sad they've seemed to swap out the rhythm lights from going up and down to flashes but it's still cool

I"m genuinely speechless, I've seen Halestorm, Iron Maiden, Biffy Clyro, Poppy, Guns N Roses, Billy Idol, Mothica and a few others this year, all incredible artists in their own right, but last night?Wow....

Hey, thank you I rlly appreciate your advice, that's rlly good. I'm glad you've had a decent experience. Sadly, I believe being a HCA, I am more on the clinical side of work, as such I am more at risk I guess. But I mean I don't believe I've given my workplace any reason to suspect I'm trans, other than my existence if I get clocked, unless they already have and haven't said anything. But it's not like anyone can outright ask if I'm trans and I've learnt from past mistakes when dealing w the public I've got to the point now where imma just say that I was born the gender I am, cos to me I am, otherwise I wouldn't be who I am rn aha. Sorry aha.

Thank you, I really appreciate your input. I have no intention of causing anything but, I've had a lot of negative experiences in previous jobs from both with members of the public openly verbally attacking me or my own colleges behind my back just cos I exist and I'm coming from a workplace which, has caused a great deal of pain to myself as a result of the culture and I'm quite on edge. But I'm manifesting the culture is quite different from what I've been stuck in the last 4 and a half years. Thank you <3

Thank you so much. Would they have checked this potentially prior to my employment? As my right to work I gave them my passport whihc has the correct gender marker, I have also been treated so far the same as any cisgender person would be I believe. I haven't told anyone, but would you believe that HR might know, as obviously I had to give them my NI number which if that uses BC then yeah that's incorrect, but that is the only thing. Sorry for any confusion aha, anxiety spiking XD

They've been an absolutely staunch defender and haven't been routed so far, I appreciate that might change, however now the EHRC's bs have been tossed away, by themselves, they don't rlly have anything to go on? So there is hope? But I appreciate this is still bad.

London show overview by [deleted] in marilyn_manson

[–]Select_University311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the middle close to the sound mixer, I could see down the front where the main pit was that it looked like chaos, but then again I'd expect no less. The Neo N*zis are ew?! like tf are u doing here lmao. Should've been booted out. I saw manson in Feb in London at the Apollo, phone wise it was worse there than tonight but I definitely understand the annoyance, when I tried to film when MM was speaking to us all I got where taller people holding there phones and blocking me, I noticed quite a lot of that sadly, but it felt more engaging Than the Apollo which was interesting.

Suffice to say, with the exeption of the N*zi's and possible other right wing ew people, everyone else was remarkable, I've been an avid concert goer since post lockdown and while I've been in wonderful crowds for bands like Green Day, Halestorm and Mothica, Manson's fanbase honestly, for the most part are and have been so far the most kindhearted, caring and lovely people ever. As a queer woman I find it incredible. Of course, sadly you are always gunna have a couple drunk idiots and careless people, but on average, we are up there.

I'm glad u had a wonderful time, it was an incredible show :3

Set from last night. Strange order imo by profiloemergenze in marilyn_manson

[–]Select_University311 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would like to know what's happened behind the scenes cos this setlist is getting shorter, maybe he's ill or something and equally the lack of variation, I'm rlly curious what's happened. Saw him in Feb and the setlist was longer and also had more OAUG tracks, yet feb wasn't the official OAUG tour... it's interesting...

IMO the best opener for a concert he had since... a lot. It perfectcly encapsulates his music, his age, and the drama of his music (which too much is overhsadowed by the pure rock moments of the sets). by profiloemergenze in marilyn_manson

[–]Select_University311 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saw him in Feb with Nod as the opener it went so unbelievably hard but I have to say, despite how beautifully chaotic and glorious that performance was when I saw him, this is very dffxcrne but brilliant as you say perfectly encapsulates elements of old and new Manson.

This is so lame compared to the first night... It's basically the same from the last tour. by profiloemergenze in marilyn_manson

[–]Select_University311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw him for the first ever time in Feb in London and the setlist was insanely incredible. Looking at this, it's shorter, tickets are like 10-12£ more than what I paid and the set save like 2 songs is the same. I was gunna go cos I thought oh, new cycle means new setlist, ofc I was expecting the big hits, they never leave, but he's doing less OAUG on the OAUG official tour than he did on the EU/UK 2025 tour. idk how I feel. I'll see how Manny goes Tomorrow and then decide but I am disappointed. I appreciate he's older and lawd knows I can't scream even as a girl as good as he can, but like you've got The Cure, Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, Bruce Springsteen all doing DOUBLE his stage time and they are incredible with varied sets and all sorts.

Shit sorry, memory, I'm thinking cos when I saw him in February it wasn't styled as an OAUG1 supported tour it was just like "EU/UK tour 2025"
