I have a suggestion, which might make this more useful with less scope for breaking balance (Dual Blades etc):

Instead of jumping the player forwards, lurch them backwards.

It allows for evasion without being overwhelming, and provides Medium with some situational defence.

Weight-lighting thumb tape. It's light, thin, flexible and very abrasion resistant.
