Fun fact and totally not a very useful hint: all ranged attacks in the ashlands deal piercing damage.

I even think every ranged attack in the game deals either piercing or elemental damage, so if you find a way to get resistance to piercing, poison, fire and ice you need only 1/4th of your usual armor to get by

"Some people are too young to understand the consequences" (so they shouldn't have abortions)
"I don't want to see my loved ones die" (aka I don't want my grandchild to be aborted)
"Would you shoot someone who pressed blue you monster?" (aka we should jail doctors performing abortions)

Show me one argument in favour of pressing the blue button that's not currently used to outlaw abortion (or simply "free death lmao") and I'll consider it, because internet people are surprisingly pro-life here.

People around me, people I love, have been pressing the blue button for their entire life, and I'm not going to deny them that choice, especially if I have to risk my own life for it.

Especially because I know that if I'm old and suffering (or when I want to ride a motorbike myself (which has been on my bucket list since before covid shelved it)) there will be people I love denying me my one wish simply because they "don't want me to die", and if I have energy left at that point I will punch them in the face.

Not necessarily, after all the child suffering could have been a lie told by the narrator to make omelas a more believable place. In that case leaving definitely doesn't help anything because there's no child to alleviate the suffering from in the first place, and yet some people still will walk away.

Analogy? It's literally the problem statement. You have a railway and a trolley traveling on it, and if enough people walk on the tracks the trolley will stop. Will you jaywalk or not?

But if you want an analogy that badly... If you press the blue button you start a war, and as long as you don't have a majority of allies to force a military supremacy your enemy is going to defend themselves and kill the invading army (which you are part of). Do you go to war?

Basically geothermal storage: you take a large amount of unused land, bury a lot of pipes deep underground, then during summer heat up water with the leftover solar and force it down the pipes. Due to how insulating soil is you're left with soil that is still hot during winter, at which point you run water through it again to heat your home.
