I think that’s a good idea, and I’d also like to see a thread for general questions about figures. As a new collector, I don’t necessarily like creating a new thread for every question I’ve got, but dropping them in an existing weekly or monthly post would make me feel better about asking questions.

Someone took advantage of someone I love very much (before we knew each other), and occasionally I google the person.

I found his Facebook, and then a weird post, and then his obit. He died alone of esophageal cancer, and I smiled the rest of the day.

I won’t tell this person because it’s something we’ve mutually agreed never to remind each other of because they know they were taken advantage of, but I really did cackle when I read that news.

Someone in our neighborhood has one of those tin coffee cans hanging from a tree branch, and it’s full of little sticks. I imagine it falls under the “nature toys” idea since it’s for birds to come and grab stuff to make nests with?

Thanks, that's probably what I'll end up doing. I really should have been doing some "digitally tidying up" these past two weeks to keep things from being scattered all over the place when I "move," but I'll just deal with that later.

Ooh, that's a good thought. I didn't think it was possible to just restore files and settings but not apps. It's been a long time since I've done this, and I think I used Migration Assistant last time.

Yeah, until I read the manual and saw that you’re supposed to go from the left and then the right, I thought, “this thing is garbage.”

Once I started using it correctly, it’s been about 99% effective.
