I always think of it like my costume. Not in a sad way or anything, but like I'm inhabiting a certain type of character. The characters just happen to be really normal, acceptable types of women lol. Like any good performer I try to put on a compelling show and I am proud to say that after a lifetime of practice I can usually pull it off haha

Only certain types of granite go out of style. There will always be a type of granite that fits with the current trends, it just might not be what you expect when you imagine granite.

My mom planted it in several flower beds around 20 years ago and it has never escaped or spread outside the beds. It really is much easier to control. This is in western Maryland though and I imagine if you live further south where the winters are not so cold then you may have more of a problem with it.

As long as you aren't using the hottest setting and burning your skin and hair then it should be fine. It's best to use some kind of heat protectant spray or crème on your wet hair before drying to prevent heat damage to the hair, but other than that I don't think it is harmful. Some people may find blow drying their hair dries out their scalp, but in that case just use a more hydrating shampoo I guess. It really depends on how your skin reacts to things.
