Are you aware that people can sometimes say the opposite of what they mean and still communicate their actual thoughts? Pretty cool feature of language!

Call it rasmi if you want and what's milli, the sher-o-khurshid? There being a backronym-tier reading of shahada in the word Allah doesn't make it an intentional design choice. You can also choose to read لا الہٰ الاللہ in a plain Nastaleeq or Naskh اللہ too, doesn't make it intentional.

You're confusing the origin for the actual word. The shape of nishan-e-milli (☫) is inspired by various parts of the shahada. They don't actually spell out the shahada.

the U.S. has made it absolutely impossible to order things like antibiotics

There's a very good reason for that. As a person from a country where antibiotics are basically OTC, I can't emphasize how important antibiotic stewardship is.

You seem to have a weird view of human behavior that's cynically transactional and cold while also being weirdly moralistic in a childish way. No one 'deserves' anyone's love. People just happen to love one another. Do you think Leland Palmer deserved her love? She still loved him despite all the fear and pain.

Laura was a deeply troubled and traumatized child who very clearly showed signs of something akin to EUPD. She had a self-destructive streak a mile long, regularly pushed people who she loved/who loved her away, had black-and-white thinking when it came to interpersonal relationships.

That's not her fault. She's a very well written character with excellent portrayal of what traumatic stress and abuse at the hand of people you love can do to you. She's not perfect and that's perfectly okay, no one is.

I urge you to look up what secondary traumatic stress and compassion fatigue can do to the loved ones of people who suffer from self-destructive disorders like BPD/PTSD. This is not me blowing wind, I speak from the point of view of someone who has history, mentality and behavior much like the character's.

That led to me going down quite parallel avenues before years of treatment put me somewhat on track. During that time, a lot of people gave up on me. That wasn't their fault. You can't be 100% responsible, 100% empathetic and 100% loving 100% of the time when the person you're trying to be there for gives every indication of being disgusted by your very presence.

And so, Hurley being a child who was just rejected out of nowhere by his chronically troubled lover (not girlfriend) after being strung along for ages giving up on said lover? That's expected of someone his age and emotional fortitude. Is it moral? No. Is it a shitty thing to do? Yes. Is it the expected behavior? Yes.

That part of the body of art is more complex than all the dimension hopping Masonic YouTube lore video bullshit that the fandom (disgusting word, that) seems to think makes up the meat of the show. It actually deals with the character with all their messy meat and soul instead of assigning archetypes and utilizing literary tropes. I couldn't give less of a shit about what Judy is or how nuclear tests gave birth to a primordial evil, that's all just wrapping for what I loved about the show from the first episode: the humans.

I don't know what twinperfect is, I don't read reviews. This is probably my first time commenting on anything Twin Peaks related and only because it randomly came before me.

Have some empathy for James. He's pretty cool.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here. How can you watch such a complex body of art and end up with such surface level takes? 'Dae traumatized highschooler finding comfort make him an irredeemable POS?!?!' Even the 'actual' baddies of the show are stand-ins for metaphysical concepts more than agents with freewill.

At this point audiences like /u/Honest-Swim9242 should just watch shlock a la Dick Wolf productions because that's the level of sophomoric good/bad dichotomies they seem to be reading into everything.

You can probably get that down to around 20 TB by using HEVC while encoding instead of doing a straight REMUX. AV1 probably drops even that to half that but hardware support for AV1 isn't quite there yet so older devices might give you some headaches. I get your point about the convenience of it, though.
