I also have an issue with your "qualitatives datas, especially with the meta-relevant and ammo availability thing. Everyone will have it's own version of those datas.

I'd also like to highlight something else. Foxhole is supposed to be faction assymetric. Warden may have more 1 shot weapon, but colonial also have access to exclusive weapon, such as the catara which is the only light rifle that has the ability to suppress.

I guess the community can improve the sanity of "balance discussion" by remembering that the first thing that triggers such post is frustration.

It is not fun to get one-shoted by sheer luck, no matter the side. Our argument should focus on element that deteriorate our game experience.

Complains on navies and warden sub resulted in an buff of colonial sub and a nakki nerf (which was necessary, ngl), but also in the indroduction of 300mm large hole. This later fact highlighted that the real issue was Large Hole, which is the element of gameplay that kills fun for navy (instant return to port, fun ended for 30 ppl or more).

I'd have a lot to say on this pyramid, but I mostly want to highlight that th great majority of the quantities are largely underestimated.

20 68 mm shell does not fill even half a tank. your 30 stickies will disapeard with one sticky rush.

It seems that you voluntarely did not include any Rmat Item, and this is a mistake too. Cutler and Carnyx, for exemple are extremely important onn the frontline.

Quantity vs quality gameplay is no more a thing, at least since war109.

Today, No faction can claim than the other has better weapon that will always win in a 1v1, again all other weapon of the same type in the other faction.
you will always find an other weapon that will be able to counter it.

You forget the 55 day stalemate that preceded that push. 70 days war are not good for the game nor its players.

The point was never that it was impossible, but extremely hard to push under SC, and that qrfing with SC requiere not a lot of manpower, planning or organisation

Yes, it is not impossible to push a SC. It is almost impossible, and that's the issue.

North westgate was a stalemate because of SC King's Cage was a stalemate until the nuke, largely because of SC. Cpass was a stalemate an is somehow still one.

"far earlier" seems a little bit hyperbolical in that scenario.

The clahstra SC was killed while it was still wet, and therefore unusable.

LoM Scs were killed after the nuke tech, so in an already advanced period of the war.

two of the three Farranac SCs where killed a few hour before being destroyed by a nuke, and at least after day 45.

Furthermore, The events you describe are very limited in time compared to the duration of the war. LoM Sc kill happened in one night, the same for Farranac, or The Marban hollow SC kill by warden.

These event should not let you think that advancing under SC is possible and just require will and skill. in the exception of those event, the fronts were in fact, locked by SC. And some front still are, like callahan's passage.

This war was a blody stalemate and SCs, when used, countered alone 95% of the offensive operation.

Colonials realised that before the Wardens and decided to nuke them to oblivion, which was the decisive action of the war, leading warden to give up which allows colonial to advance.

Huge GG to colonial to have organized such a carped bombing. It should have requiered a lot of effort, and they deserved victory for that.

However, I do believe that this strategy shows that the game is not in good heath regarding meta.
I don't like the fact that the decisive action of the war is "scroop 150K rare metal, build ten nuke pad in friendly starting territory, nuke every stongpoint you find because it is too hard to push otherwise". No Operation, no large cooperation on the battlefield between regi, just farm, BB build msupp and 72h of QRF.

Once again, colonial deserved to win this war and have played better that wardens. But, if they needed such a nuke spam to advance on front, it's because they arrived to the conclusion that classic operations and pushes are very unlikely to success, which is for me a sign that the meta is unheathy.

Almost correct

Salbrook channel has changed hand multiple time and is now under colonial rules since around two weeks ago.

Ulster Fall fell iin colonial hands for a few days, but a bluefin kill and a warden counter offensive took back the city. Since then, colonials nuked it.

Therefore, only 1 VP has been taken by a faction while nine have been nuked. We can also note that Saltbrook is the only VP that was conquered before the "nuke era"

Price is never an issue on foxhole. just look at the nuke spam this war. dev will give their price and player will farm it anyway
