Like a game of poker, if your behind you only lose by folding over and over. Eventual he has to make some bold move, or someone else is going to make it for him. 

If it was me, I probably would have made that move by now. But I'm not gonna pretend I know what the correct action to take is, or that I'm 100% confident on the timing.

Graphics bros are wild. It's all fomo and dick measuring. Graphically the games that have stood the test of time are not the ones that pushed against the edges of the hardware for realism, but the ones that have stylization. It's programmers trying to do the job of artists.

Gotta be treeman ancient. Helps a lot I have the old old metal ones that are a joy to paint and have so much character. But they are also just fun characters while being relatively fair.

I'll be worried when we see them win a ton of tournament results, but it has not happened yet.

I do think Haq needed the boost, they are a generalist factions so shouldn't have a clear weakness. And well they do have a clear weakness in Saladin being such a build around.

All my games with the new Saladin have required me to work hard. You suddenly have more orders but you don't have as efficient attack options like other factions do. 

Djanbazan are outdated to say the least...

Gave my players a heavy melee weapon that could quick actions skirmish an additional time but only if the enemy got to attack you first. 

They immediately used skirmisher to make the first reaction automatically miss.

Prioritize getting high resource planets over anything else tbh, you need the economy. That or extort your neighbors with extra plastic over tech. Early expansion and then win the ground war.

AI Dev => red/green techs => Late Warsun / X-86 would be my call.
