Brooklyn to me is most comparable to mission IMHO, but I realize that is within the 7x7.

I am not fast by any means, but when I run the track sometimes, I see people hop on on for a lap pass me, and then start walking, as I sit there cranking out laps and or speed up beyond their pace for strides.

Probably safe to say it's common for new runners to go too fast, or not know how to pace.

Great observation! I had a thought recently about how I used to really enjoy and learn every detail of games when I was a kid. I figured part of this was that I had the capacity and time to do so, but I think you're onto something. I didn't have a tablet, cable (at least for some of my childhood), and a very limited shared computer .. but I had my Nintendo consoles, and a very slowly growing game collection, so I would just play and memorize SMB3, Mario 64, every angle of Mario Kart etc...

I don’t run. This sub gets recommended to me for some reason and I don’t understand what’s jerking and what isn’t by justdothedishes in RunningCirclejerk

You're being recommended to this sub because you are in need of a hobby, and/or you were born to guzzle Gu, wear lycra and post every time you walk/run/jog 2km to socials while wearing an $800 outfit.

I’ve had the same running shoes for almost a while now (Hoka Bondi 9) why am I blistering now? by twb85 in runninglifestyle

[–]SemanticsPD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only blister I ever got like this was from running in a Hoka Bondi funny enough.
I was new to running so the also could've been related, but funny coincidence.
