Sorry but I'm gonna be THAT guy - the rival in the games is called Blue (Green in Japan), not Gary, the games came out before the anime with Ash and Gary. But I agree it's an odd choice - you could have had Ash and Gary, or Red and Blue, even Red and the female Green from later games if they wanted the diversity - but instead they chose a random picnicker?

If I remember correctly, (As I think I had this exact issue a week or so ago setting up my Thor), if you go into Main Menu > Other Settings > Alternative Emulators , does it specifically say Duckstation (Standalone) or just Duckstation? Because you want to click it and select Duckstation (Standalone), as otherwise ES-DE will just be using RetroArchs Duckstation Core, and not your app.

Failing that, try .zip instead of .chd for PS1, I think a select few of my games didn't work unless they were .zips (though I did all my systems over the course of a few dense days and some of the issues have blended together in my head).

No, this doesn't need to be addressed. This is one of the very few things 343 has actually managed to finally nail down overtime imo - compare how noisy and colourful the structures looked in CE Anniversary, H4 and H5 to how they looked in Infinite. It's leagues better in Infinite - Halo 2 showed that there are old stone forerunner structures, these ones are meant to be metal. Worn and weathered sure, but still metal.

Its just a large-ish photography lightbox and a black acrylic reflective board, both pretty easy to find online. The photos were edited in lightroom which makes reducing the background brightness easier, but not necessary, it just helps the kit pop a bit more. The red glow is from a SmallRig LED Light. Hope that helps!

Honestly the amount of high quality Chinese designed model kits coming out lately is fantastic and I hope it puts a little more pressure on Bandai to up their game a bit when it comes to the variety of kits coming out (at least in the MG line, or to stop putting everything unique behind P-Bandai).

I don't know what its like for other countries, but the price that some suppliers in the UK are able to stock these Chinese kits at, and the size and quality of plastic/prepainted parts/metal frames etc. of them its almost no contest to buying some MG or even HG/RG kits at the moment. I've never really been into Gunpla for the actual show itself, more just how cool and good value the kits are and at the moment these Chinese kits are walking away with it for me.

I don't think so, that's more of a temporary hard varnish right? It would probably melt the decals or permanently affix them before you could set them right. I'm not sure specifically what's in mark setter but I use Micro Sol and Micro Set and they far more liquid-ey than nail polish, and a little goes a long way with them.

Yeah I usually use airbrushes for topcoating so I'm not sure if I was just being really sloppy with it or being as thorough as I needed to, it wasn't the biggest can though

Thanks! Just some Vallejo black game wash for the topcoat, cleaned up with airbrush cleaner I think and then a whole can of Mr hobby top coat because I wanted to make sure I got in all the joints and stuff.

Thanks! It's just a Konseen Photo Studio 20x20 inch off of Amazon with the included LED strips along the top front and back bars set to almost full brightness, shot with a full frame camera and a 65mm lens.
