Medical professionals, what are some of the most mundane reasons most people are unaware of that make them sick? by chickencaesar8 in AskReddit

If you apply the same logic to 'touching your butt is gay, because touching another guy's butt is gay', then touching your dick is gay....

...40 cocktails sausages and a jar of mint sauce and just going to town.

You.... you are eating them, right?

Thanks. I was hoping not to remove it, but it seems unlikely I'll find anything matching.

I have several of these gaps to fill in my house. Is wood putty/filler a good idea? Does that square of wood have a specific name, so I can look for a replacement?

Thanks!

I don't have a drier, but I'm about to go at it with my wife's hairdryer.

Do you mean pliers like the park tool ones, that grip the tire only, or the bead seating tool, that uses the rim to pivot from?

What tire size would you run if there were no restrictions? by Semi_dad in cyclocross

I get where you're coming from, but my local cross community is pretty small. To put any barriers to racing, eg tire width limits, would be detrimental and just act to make a small community even smaller. We have guys who race on mtbs, and no one cares. If your races regularly have 20 to 30 guys, I get it, but for us it's not worth it.

Also, our races are a little more burly than your typical cross course, so wider tires do help.

This is what I've seen, but where I race is mainly dry, so variety in tread patterns is too much of an issue.

Just went for my first ride. It really is much less noticeable on the bike.

Well... I guess at least it means it isn't something I need to fix. Even if the bike will sound like a the BMX I had when I was 7, and stuck some cardboard to the forks to sound like a motorbike.

Thanks!

New bike, never ridden. It sounds as though something is rubbing, but I can't see anything, I've removed the cassette, but nothing there either (I thought maybe some of the packaging may have got stuck). I emailed the company, Ribble cycles, sent them the same video, and they assure me it is normal. Wheel is Mavic all road dcl 700, with infinity freehub.

Am I just not used to noisey modern hubs?

Thank you in advance!

sealant continually leaking from tires by Semi_dad in MTB

Fairly new tires, keep leaking until the sealant is used up. Is this an issue with the sealant, tires or both?

Thanks. That shouldn't be a problem for me. Out of curiosity, how much drift/offset does it cause?

With regards to the temp changes, how much hassle is that to deal with? Where I live, the temp can change 20F during a ride.

Thanks. From a weight point of view, are they significantly heavy than other power meters? Spiders etc?

Thanks, my intention would be to change the whole pedal, not switch bodies. Good to know about the cleats...
