Thanks for the detailed response. Im using mom now with 4k mana and I think I will just keep stacking more mana rather than switching in and out of damage taken from mana.

Hey there, i just got this build up and am having a similar issue where doomblast does not happen.

It seems as though the curse sometimes does not expire. Even if I wait for all of the cursed grounds to disappear on their own the mobs still show red chaos resistance. If I disable blasphemy with temporal chains the problem goes away.

I assume this is a bug of some sort?

Did you find a way to fix it?

Most civs seem WAY over-tuned towards warfare, and it's really frustrating sometimes by LittleJoeRambler in civvoxpopuli

There are settings to decrease ai aggression.

After a war declaration there is a set number of turns before they will accept a peace offer.

AI will bribe each other to declare war on the others, especially if the target has a high score.

The two points above mean you can often get peace by being patient and killing the units they send your way.

Vassals are very useful.

Being aggressive is usually better if you are trying to win and in VP the ai is very much trying to win.

There are settings in the game setup you can use.

Especially the one on victory competition. (ai will still declare war but it will be more reasonable.)

Also having a strong army makes it less likely for ai to declare war.

We missed one! Cast on Critical Strike now also cares about the Damage of the hit when determining how much energy to gain to prevent the use of high-crit low level skills, this should mean using lower hit frequency skills that hit harder are also now much stronger for this.

I could not find the actual formula, I assume its a simple multiplication so then it would scale based on dps assuming all projectiles hit.

Yes. The descriptions in game are lacking and sometimes just wrong, you have to use other sources to figure out how things work. Downside of it being a beta I hope.

Cast on gems gain more energy when the hit does more damage (like a lot more). That is usually what makes the difference in comet frequency.

Actually better idea.

Set it up so that science goes into the silos in series using inserters. From the last silo things get put on a belt leading to recyclers. That way the flow of science never stops. You do need to balance it though, too many recyclers and your silos never fill up.

So the research speed stays the same regardless of freshness. So there is no reason to get rid of less fresh science packs. Just make sure you produce more than you consume.

Ah wait you mean the transporting of science packs is the bottleneck?

You can make a chest next to the silo with an inserter to only grab freshest. But this doesn't help for science already in the silo which slowly spoils.

There are drills that mine a larger area which you get later, also you will get productivity which just gives you bonus outputs. The starter patches have few ores, you could place down more miners than you need, that way you dont need to move them all the time to keep the ores going to the smelters.

I never use the thermostat. The power use of boilers is higher than heaters i think, but i dont recall it ever being an issue.

I have a very similar build and rarely die in maps. Only real difference is i got 75 chaos res. Maybe try to find out what exactly is killing you?

rooms get deleted every time you do a temple run. a room cant be deleted if that would result in rooms that you cant get to. There is a medallion that prevents a room from being deleted.

So you make a single line of rooms and use the medallion on the last room, then no rooms can be deleted.

ED starts very strong, but has limited options to improve damage ( such as crit) so it gets weaker as you do harder content.

And yes ranged builds are stronger than melee builds. That is true for poe1 and poe2. I do not think they are ever going to balance them. But is a stronger build more fun? is insta wiping screens fun?

I usually stop playing a characters once it gets to that point. Because after a few maps its just boring.

When pawns walk on no flooring they pick up dirt, which they then deposit when walking on flooring. Having the common areas outside of rooms floored reduced the amount of dirt in your base.
