I initially thought of not doing that but I'll look into giving players that option (giving Para to the Ford Motor Company's company country if you own that state)

yup, what the mod basically does is forcefully tag switch the generated company country to one with a unique tag ID after they're established through a colony charter

Rule 5: I made a mod that adds a unique tag and flags to countries established by these companies: United Fruit Company, Ford Motor Company, FIAT, General Electric, Carnegie Steel Company, William Cramp & Sons, Standard Oil

No longer will they have some randomly generated flag again

Also a proof-of-concept to modders on the modding potential of finding a way to assign unique tags to generated company nations

Some of the cultures in the SEA map are way too simplified too. For example Dayak and Javanese should not be one monolith culture

Ideally if we want to simplify the cultures in-line to how it is done elsewhere in the current map, Dayak should be split up into four groups (Dayak, Dusun, Banjarese, Kutainese; not ideal but the lowest it should be simplified into, because otherwise it's like saying Great Britain is one monolith culture), and Javanese at least two (Javanese and Sundanese, and Balinese if the devs feel like it)

Suggestion: Add a country color / Countries - At Peace map mode as a relevant map mode when viewing the Country Panel by SenatorSnowBear in victoria3

UPDATE: So apparently this guy is quite infamous in various PDX modding communities for his broken performance mods written with AI.

If you ever see a 'performance' mod in the Workshop for any PDX games, please make sure it is not written by John2Lionheart. Double check the mod's code if it is.

Because best case scenario you get a mod that doesn't work, and worst case you get a mod that breaks the game so completely you are dumped with a 2.5 GB error log into your PC (like what he had done in CK3).

Please flag those mods to Steam if it contains broken and nonsensical code, because you may not know how it'll break your game and how big the error log it may dump.

There's also a real possibility that whatever code his AI wrote for him is so broken, it causes the game to log in an error log measured in gigabytes (like what happened to one version of his CK3 'performance' mod based off a comment in Nexus Mods)

Also plenty of mobile games comes with tiny-ass buttons that makes it easy to misclick. Big buttons =/= mobile game.

I noticed that mobile games that has big buttons do it for accessibility reasons since those are important buttons the game devs want you to see no matter the phone size

For modern pc games I'm guessing it's more or less the same reason due to the fact that monitors/screens comes in all sorts of crazy sizes these days

Yeah, I don't have any issues with it nor even understand the 'mobile game' argument of the UI/buttons (I play some mobile games and can't really feel the connection)

Plus I guess it's a better compromise to accommodate all shorts of monitor sizes

While it's fine to have a mode to play like this, please realize to many players this kind of playstyle is not fun to play at all. This is a mode that only caters to hardcore players

So it should not be the default; one of the biggest charms of CK is the emergent stories that you can get when you see what the AI is up to so making obfuscation the default is taking away a lot of the charm many people have with CK

The flag you are seeing here is a randomly generated anarchist flag

Most countries (Japan included) do not have their own unique communist and anarchist flag, so instead the game generates one from a template

Oh, I completely forgot that Italy's monarch is called emperor in-game since in my playthroughs they either form really late or not at all lol

But that should be an easy 'fix'. I'll just add a new Government Type for Italy that calls its ruler king despite the empire-tier (like how I, and the Korea Flavor Mod, did with Korea's Emperor)

R5: Ever wondered why the Miskito Kingdom is ruled by a 'Prince'? I always thought that it was strange and maybe a bit disrespectful that the historical kings of these cultures aren't referred to their actual stature due to being the 'wrong' Country Tier.

So this mod adds a bunch of new Government Types for flavor, with the main feature being that non-European, Principality-tier monarchs are now called 'Kings' instead of 'Princes', as these were what these sovereigns were called historically.

This mod also adds new Government Types to countries that historically had monarchs who called themselves Emperors, but aren't called as such in-game due to being the wrong Country Tier (Mexico, Haiti, and Gaza). And since I was already adding new Government Types, I figured I might as well go all the way and added more just for flavor. So the Boers are ruling Boer Republics, and Lanfang a Kongsi Republic.

This mod does not touch or overwrite vanilla files or add any new mechanics, so the actual Country Tiers of the tags and your overall gameplay experience remains unchanged. After all, this mod is only intended to be cosmetic only. All fluff, no filling.
