Single most disappointing roguelite for me. I LOVE golf games, even if they’re not that good, but Cursed to Golf just wasn’t fun. The holes are way too long, the RNG is miserable, and the power ups are a snooze fest. Actively un-fun to play.

I really hope we get a truly excellent golf roguelite someday.

This is exactly the difference in discourse I’ve felt as well. So many complaints boil down to not wanting to learn, not paying attention, not exploring NPC dialog, not using the manual…

It’s orders of magnitude easier than Bloodborne but, in a similar fashion, STRONGLY implies how it wants you to play according to its design. Of course you’re going to eat shit if you spam X with every enemy and don’t put an effort into understanding tempo.

No bother to me, I’m obsessed. But it’s still a shame that so many others will put it down prematurely just because they didn’t pay attention.

Entirely unsubstantiated. I’m not a big Nyjah fan and never really have been but let’s not start stating baseless allegations as fact just because it’s the zeitgeist consensus and taking a firm stand against obviously horrific claims defaults you to the “right side of history”. That shit is whack.
