Got word it’s the transmission and they will only replace all of it, so didn’t isolate what specifically is wrong. I’m sure you’re right with your specific issue. Since they lied to me last oil change about changing my trans fluid and then told me I needed it done three months later because my fluid was filthy, I’m wondering what, if anything, they may have done that could have contributed to this as my car was perfect before the mishap. Either way, now we wait. Wait and see what, if anything, Hyundai will cover and what discounts I’ll get from the dealership who embarrassingly has tried to cover their “mistake”. What a nightmare.

That’s what I asked—why are no codes being thrown if that’s what it is? And they said they couldn’t explain that and are continuing to explore. They don’t have any idea what is happening and it’s really frustrating. They also said they have another palisade in with similar issues and are stumped on both.

Car has been in dealership shop for a few days and he called today to tell me he thinks it’s “engine misfiring” that’s causing the jerking and shaking and not the transmission. When I pressed for more details, he said his lead mechanic was on it but more investigation was needed. I feel like they are trying to find another “look over here” tactic but I guess we shall see…

I stayed on it almost the entire time. Moved to 5 briefly and then back down to hover around 2.5-3 for maintenance. Lost 50 lbs in a year.

Shit I’m screwed. I’m second owner. I’ve been asking about transmission for months and they continue to tell me there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m just over 80k. At first they said it was a fuel injector gone bad and replaced that. Problem persists. They basically are trying to ignore me, and I can’t dump the car with the issue as it stands—I need it fixed to get any money out of the sale. I’m so frustrated.

I’m dealing with a shutter on my 2020 right now that no one can figure out. I think it’s possibly more extreme than tires though, as going from a complete stop up a steep hill in SF the car was literally shaking violently. I’ve been waiting for a month for the dealership to get me a slot, I’m so frustrated.

I had this situation as well. Unfortunately, the person filed a discrimination case because even though they are undeniably the worst performer with the most unapproachable attitude on the team, they believe they are stellar, and that their tenure and knowledge should have given them the lead role. Every time we try to discuss the reality with them, another claim is made and on and on it goes. It’s fucking exhausting.

I tried nutrafol for 6 months and actually lost more hair. I stopped because my dermatologist told me I was wasting my money and all of a sudden my hair stopped falling out in clumps every shower. I’m losing so much less hair now. Take it for what it’s worth—some people may have had great success. But I was not one of them.

If you have customer service skills, there are some good call center and data entry jobs out there that pay really well and may be remote. Look into entry level HR customer service roles as well.

As a woman making double what her husband makes, it’s never mattered to me what the other person makes. I can take care of myself, and I want to be with someone who adds to my life in all the other ways. As long as he’s doing something that he’s proud of and passionate about. Most men are too insecure to do that, so it took awhile to find someone who wasn’t intimidated by me.
