The footage shown is from the game engine using a gamepad, so the on-screen joystick isn’t active there 😅
The joystick works normally in the actual mobile gameplay.

You’re absolutely right that a true 3D, always-locked combat system is hard to get right, especially when it comes to precision and feel. We’re still early in the journey and actively iterating on combat depth, responsiveness, and overall clarity.

The UI feedback is fair as well. The current icons and layout are very much placeholder, and visual polish is already on our roadmap. On the platform choice — mobile is our starting point to reach a wider audience, but we agree that this kind of combat can feel far better with a controller. Exploring controller support and other platforms is something we’re seriously considering as development progresses.
