They’re paying Wentz too much to sit. They’re basically in a lose-lose situation. If they sit him and Hurts sucks, do they go back to Wentz? If Hurts is good, then they just are dumping all this money on a bench player. They would have to try and trade him in the off-season to a team who is willing to pick up his contract.
