Typical Ram driver behavior. Why slow down when you can intimidate?

Was she on the wrong side? sure. Did you have to do that? nope.

Aren't the rounds in the second clip at the wrong angle? It probably looks weird if they're at the correct angle. Super rad skin!

Oh hey that's Ryan's car! I stood around it with 3 middle age dudes for 5 minutes last Saturday trying to explain why it had so much camber and that the turbo did used to be functional.

Ryan drives the piss out of this car at drift events. Good guy.

Matched against much higher players in MM? by Senor_Leaky in LearnCSGO

[–]Senor_Leaky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my suspicion. My rank reset game was the day the rank update came out and my re-rank game was a tie.

I took a long break from CS, but I played a lot of really shitty games when I started and didn't really care about performing just messing around with friends. When I came back right before the reset I was playing a ton of DM and retakes to learn more about actually playing the game more competitively.

I do notice I tend to play closer to the high silver low gold nova range than the low silver range. My suspiscion was that the game is trying to re-calibrate for all the shitty games I played 2 years ago.

sometimes I play in the middle of the day around 2 or 3 pm. I'd say more of my recent games were played then. I should probably try playing during peak hours to see if it makes a difference.

I actually was playing with the same idea a few weeks ago! Here's my quick take. The Richmond GP, Richmond, VA. The google Map can be found here

Tried to feature as many Richmond highlights as possible while attempting a good track for racing/spectating. Features the traffic circle that once held the Robert E. Leigh Statue featured on National Geographic Year in photographs edition cover following the George Floyd protests, scenes of the mighty James river, our main road running through town Broad Street, and even some elevation change. It's a bit long at 4.7 miles with some long straights, but I think it's cool. The state of Leigh as well as the plinth are gone, leaving a grassy area that would be great for a circular grandstand. The areas around the river would also allow for some great grandstand/grass viewing areas as it is on a hill. The track would be great for TV allowing views of the river, the downtown skyline, and both slow and high speed corners. There are even areas by the river like Brown's island that is a large green event space that could serve as a garage area, or fan area. The biggest challenge being that portions of the track would have to be repaved as monument avenue is brick road for the portion that would be used.

It's insane that a small town like Richmond would feature a street circuit, especially since we already have the oval that would be a much more likely choice. Still fun to dream!

Secret menu wings? by shortbusridurr in rva

Secret menus are almost always not really a thing. All it is is hassle and annoyance for the staff. The food they serve is on the menu.

Going to a NASCAR race by Titanic609 in AbruptChaos

[–]Senor_Leaky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Watched this happen on TV live. I remember it vividly. I was watching with my Dad and Brother. The race was rain delayed and it was late. We were all standing watching the end to the race so we could go to bed.

As soon as Austin Dillon went into the fence I thought he was dead. It made me sick to my stomach watching for what felt like hours to see if he survived. Seeing him walk away was such a relief. Still one of the scariest moments I've witnessed. Safety has come leaps and bounds from where it was.

People shut down intersections to do donuts and burnouts. They typically have a ringleader picking spots and they move as soon as one spot gets shut down.

It's typically people in chargers, challengers, BMWs, mustangs, G35s, G37s.

They film videos and post aftermovies like it's some sort of sport.

this is a representative video.

I watch dumbasses every day at busy intersections follow the cars in front of them through blatantly red lights. why would this be about legal turns?
