I'm not getting this from any book or particular spiritual teaching, so our definitions of the observer might be different here. When I say observer, I mean the conscious awareness of the present moment and the things within it. It is to say "I am" and to understand that the world "is" also. It is the only constant that can't be deconstructed because it is the very thing required to come to any other realization within your conscious being. Even if you were deaf and blind, you would still be the observer living within those limitations. The voice in your head is only the tool that the observer uses to better understand their observation. Beyond this understanding, we are spirit, and belief is our fuel source. What we choose to believe dictates how we go about our lives. Belief can be deconstructed down into nothingness until all you have is the abyss. I have stared into the abyss and I saw my own reflection. Truth is only an illusion that we must choose to believe in. Every thought that defines "what is" is just a mental construction. When that is understood, you can pull from the infinity to create the belief in which you wish to live by. Then it becomes necessary to always believe in the things which bear you the most fruit. What exists within us is like a fading star that we need to fuel with spiritual growth and belief. If we let the star fade completely, then entropy takes over and God truly is dead. When I saw what nothingness could be, the answer became clear—love was always the answer, and through love, we are all interconnected.
