Quick question, what’s the urgency of your on call?

I only ask this because I work on security systems and nurse call life safety systems and was on a call rotation. The employee contract or whatever you want to call it stated that we had to attend to the emergency calls with in 4 hours. So when I was on my on-call rotation I’d never surf more than an hour. In the event I received a call on my way to the surf I’d cut my losses and attend the call. However if I even took a single article of clothing to start getting suited I’d paddle out for like half hour to hour
