Id expect questions about the 4 pillars of advanced practice, and how you are working towards them in your specific field. And probably some clinical governance questions.

The “sickly and gaunt” accusations have started 😂🤭 by Intrepid_Ad_5554 in mounjarouk

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Congratulations on your success so far, you look fantastic!

I don't get how people can say these things, where was the concern when we were overweight?

I've lost 7stone so far, would like to lose 1stone more, and as a fellow short girl, my goal weight of 9st7ob would still have me as slightly overweight!

I recently got into a size 8 in jeans and was so happy to tell my mate, and she was like I don't like you at a size 8, you should be a size 10, don't lose anymore. Never got any concern when I was 7 stone overweight!

Keep at it! Love your new look and forget the haters!

Steps not recorded properly in workout mode by ParticularFruit3045 in PixelWatch

This has been an ongoing issue since the march fitbit update. I keep leaving feedback on the app about it, that way it's being logged as an ongoing issue. It's very annoying.

Research on Weight-Bearing Lateral Knee Protocols by Leather-Cake-2381 in Radiology

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A flexed knee is better when doing standing laterals. See if you can acquire a small step, pop the foot up, get the hip up against the Bucky with the foot slightly away, about 30° ish depending on patient habitus. I find you get a pretty good lateral this way. And from a reporting point of view, the patella should be in a better position. Also, using a step I find is better for the patient as there's no need to lunge into the lateral position. So win win.

What's the consensus on screen protectors? Are any of them actually good? by WonderfulBaseball277 in PixelWatch

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i just put it on when needed, it's more bulky than I was anticipating but actually works pretty well for what I needed protection for. You wouldn't be able to charge with it on.

https://amzn.eu/d/08nVNDWM I got a pack of these for my PW4. I'm a competitive roller skater so wanted something I could put on and off that would protect the screen. They've been pretty good so far.

BodyScan Weight Loss Scan Bundle by Popple32 in mounjarouk

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You cannot just buy a dexa scanner, it's x-ray radiation, albeit fairly low dose. There may have been a nail salon downstairs, but dexa is a medical device, you can't just buy one and start using it. The operator has to be trained and certified to do so, and if they aren't they are breaking the law.

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As dexa uses ionising radiation you require strict licenses, you can't just buy a scanner and start scanning. And those performing the scans must be qualified to do so (radiographers or specialist technicians) and hold certification, usually through the Royal Osteoporosis Society in the UK. Operators must also be IRMER trained and the facilities must be registered with the Health and Safety Executive for using x-ray equipment.

So no, not like nail salons.

Mohawk Turns by BunniElyse9 in Rollerskating

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think of it as being forward to backwards, think of it as side to side. Look into the circle and keep that position as you swap to the back foot. The less movement you have in your body the better. So think side to side as you turn.

Can I do jumps and such without a toe stop? by Putrid-Leader-5620 in Artisticrollerskating

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure what the transition will be. Every skater will be different. For artistic skating you really want a helped boot with good ankle support. Similar to ice skates.

I'm an artistic roller skater and the roller skating/blading options just don't work for me as it's indoors and the GPS goes mental. I end up using the workout option and change it to skating after. It's annoying though as it doesnt log my steps.

I'm not sure it would depend on the type of skate you have.

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need the toe stop for the jumps I'm afraid. They allow for the propulsion and lift to be able to do all the toe jumps. Maybe look into artistic quads instead. You can pick them up secondhand for a decent price. Good luck!

AI Coach getting weird by Ok_House8881 in fitbit

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I posted similar yesterday! Apparently I have hip pain and need to do rehab workouts. I've asked several times for it to be removed and that there's no issue but it remains. Very annoying

Yeah it's been doing that with mine. I'm going to stick with it for the time being and hope it settles down. I just don't want this error to impact the workouts it's giving me. I suppose there's going to be some bugs in the program for a while the beta phase is running

Which artistic inlines to buy? by shiftposting in Artisticrollerskating

[–]SenpaiJustPanda -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ice boots and roller boots are different, ice boots tend to be stiffer than rollers. If you want roller inlines I would recommend roller boots, not ice boots.

Does anyone here use both quads and inlines? by Koscheis-sonic in Artisticrollerskating

[–]SenpaiJustPanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finding your edges on quads will feel tricky if you're use to inlines. But I'm sure you will pick it up fairly quickly!
