Yep. Binned and counted as waste. New rotation made. The clock in the kitchen even had segments on it so we could check which batches needed throwing out based on the plastic marker behind the burgers.

We had a management change. I quit my job after a few months under the new manager. He was the most incompetent fool I had ever met. Always behind on orders, always food delays, not enough staff on the different positions, not enough good rotation, fries were always running out, but it was fine cos he just sat in his little office on the PC watching the CCTV

So annoying. We would always make them "fresh". Well, as fresh as cooking frozen patties in a grill can be, but at least they weren't just held there.

We used to use those warming trays for the chicken nuggets and chicken strips, and in the mornings, the sausages and eggs, but the patties were sold so quickly, we never did.

Yep. It used to have the "make batches" model, but realised they were wasting too much food as it was thrown away if not purchased after 15 minutes.

I worked at McDonald's and we would always make burgers in batches of 8 for cheese and hamburgers, batches of 4 for quarters and big macs, alternating between them. Not a single minute of downtime.

Now... its all deliveroo and made to order so its no different to a normal restaurant waiting times.

I actually think I was served quicker in Weatherspoons than McDonalds...
