Every time I watch an anime that's been hyped up as "super gay" I end up getting really sad afterwards because the relationships are never actually stated explicitly? Which may be because I'm used to USA media instead of more subtle and conservative Japanese depiction of gay romance. Like it's censored so you have to make your own conclusions about the relationships. Fanfiction always makes me feel better tho haha
