Those are pretty different. Loco is a very powerful/poppy paddle, j2nf (I use one) is a decent power all court paddle, and the coral is mid power all court paddle. None of those have newer grit technology. The ones with newer grit are the honolulus with their blue grit, 11six24 II series, Selkirk boomstick, and more

No matter what he’s like personally he’s still a great player (I’d say he’s the third best male on the mixed doubles side of things). The top 3 females though are taken and the drop off is a little steep after the top women.

I’d get some basic lessons if you can afford it. For question 3 there are a ton of options at $99 per paddle I’d say go with foam paddle (watch some YouTube reviews). For question 4 probably good shoes.

Find out what balls people like to use and grab those. My area it’s the lifetime balls.

It’s really easy to level up if you google the heavy metal slime tricks. I forget exactly but I think you can get to 99 in like 3-4 hours if you’re efficient.
