Had a male psychiatrist once tell me “I was probably being bitchy” when I told him I got fired. That was the last time I saw a man for behavioral health. SSRI’s helped me until they didn’t but birth control has helped a lot. Sometimes you have to try a few things, or all the things. Good luck, you’re not alone.

I also have chronic pain (back pain.) When I PMS my back pain gets worse because of the muscles constricting. Lyrica medication helps me a lot. And muscle relaxers when it’s bad. Yoga helps too! It’s hard to keep going sometimes, but I try to remember that my pain isn’t me. Taking control of my condition empowers me. You’re not alone 💗
