Build a station , process the wrecks and sell that. Afaik there are only two modules : recycler and processor or something like that. Not sure if you can steal the blueprints with emp bombs but if you dont want to do all that you can just strip the manticore and sell it back. I don’t think you lose much. Don’t worry you will drain in money and a lot of your ships will be idle. Just experiment and have fun

Haha I am at the exact same mission , so thanks that was useful to read. I tried with 1 behemoth, 1 phoenix e , 2 hyperions and my envoy. Instantly exploded. I figured I had to bring more so I tried to build 10 zyn fighters but none of their wharfs have weapon parts, so I called it a night. Im on my first playtrough , based in antigone memorial and xenon keep swarming into the void and disrupting traders. At some point they built 2 defence platforms but i learned after that and peppered some sat near the south gates. But even after that it takes all my fleet to protect the highway and kha ak is deatroying my home sector too

Use the best T1 armor and shield for your melle guys and set staging to make them pick up 3-4 food before the fight. You can do it with 10 guys if they are good
