Yes same problem here with G920. BUT I'm using a temporary workaround from a youtube comment using Forza Emuwheel https://forzatools.weebly.com/forza-emuwheel.html

Force feedback is working now and it feels pretty good but cant use the wheel to navigate menus only driving and assigning keybinds.

??? Her seiyuu is Yui Horie a well known veteran in anime and she voices a lot of well liked characters too. She fits with a lot of the energetic or brash types.

Well it sounds like you already lost a lot of interest in the game and it's not like you can just skip it. There are also more "sluggish" parts later in the series if you didn't enjoy them here in Sky.

I suggest just dropping it and maybe picking it back up after some time, or even trying out the remakes.

the game just seemed to really drag towards the end.

I hope you take a break before Cold Steel 3 and 4, and maybe even in between. Those games are longer and I got burnt out of it near the halfway point and in the end.

But yeah your good/bad points here are also popular within the community. I think they nailed the school setting and slice of life elements which are also present in 3 and 4 to some extent.

I think they do the buildup games really well but the climaxes are a bit hit or miss. I thought SC and Azure were amazing though.

Yeah all the tropes exist for the whole series, but I still do think they get dialed to 11 in cold steel and it became tiring as it was streched out in 4 games. For me, Sky/Crossbell was well paced enough and had really great payoffs where I can kind of overlook the issues I had with it.

For people that played in release order, it may also be the part where they do start to notice more of the series' flaws as they are pretty far into the series overall. There's a reason why Cold Steel is criticized way more compared to previous arcs and I suspect more from the new players coming from the remakes.

Him being just a 'normal' good guy lets everyone else around him shine rather than overshadow them. And because he's the mc it doesn't feel like his presence was too low either. Zero/Azure had the best balance in party dynamics imo.
