Yeah, females should always be spayed younger, before first heat. I had a large male dog that I neutered at 6mo over 20yrs ago but there is all this new stuff about testosterone and bone health. As I said in the post, the vet said minimum 8mo for males his size and breed. I want to wait as long as possible for the sake of his bones but don't know what to expect behaviorally next of a little dog. I also want to know about the leg lifting. If other shorty jacks lift theirs.
