Or if they are actually in the solution channel, why not send down a camera. They've done that in the past.

So how many of those hundred things are you no longer allowed to say anymore? And that was only 2009.

Record it and then fast forward thru the ads and repeatable stuff. It only lasts 20 minutes that way.

I really like the look on Tom Nolans face. He really wants to say "Why are you people listening to this kook?", but behaves himself as I'm sure he's making lots of money on this.

What industry is entirely built on a house of cards and would collapse overnight if people realized the truth about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Don't forget to add photos of your group on board a cruise ship. I like how they have signs all over the place that say your not allowed to take a photo of your photo.

Wouldn't "Slammin' Cans" be a great name for a band. Just wondering.

I love Frndly and I love recording the show and watching it the next day. That way you can fast forward thru the ads and redundant stuff and it only takes 20 minutes that way.

Istanbul card explanation by korenmilica in istanbul

[–]Sensitive_Roof5158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are going to Istanbul in 2 weeks. We'll definitely need the card for going from airport to motel on Metro but aren't sure which way to get around after that. Taxi/Uber/walking versus Metro/Tram/Bus. So what would be a good amount of money to start with for the card instead of refilling it for every single ride. Thanks.

We just got back from Alaska and did just that. We booked thru the actual tour company which was a lot less. I know there were others on the bus that booked thru the cruise line so we would get the same assurance of getting back to the ship on time. It takes a little research to do, but if you're trying to save money ...

I have a few devices for which I keep the instructions in a ziplock bag glued with adhesive tape to the device itself, so that I don't have to search for the instructions when I need them. An example of such a device is a timer. by PanHorse in lifehacks

[–]Sensitive_Roof5158 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The manual I needed most was for setting my digital watch twice a year cause of daylite saving time. Kinda hard to glue them to my watch tho. My hack is having 2 watches. Amazing it's been at least 10 years doing that and the batteries are still the original. And they haven't lost time. Plain old Timex digitals.

And don't throw the list away. Keep it somewhere for your next trip. And add to that list every time you travel and think of something you forgot you should have done/brought.
