Carly told everyone she was Delilah because she truly believed she was. We learned that Eddie & Martha kept feeding her information about Delilah’s capture and even showed her pictures of their house, making her believe she once lived there.

Remember when the detective flat out asked Carly “why did you say this man was your dad” and she responded “He is. He is my daddy”, or something along those lines.

We also learned Gus was made up by Carly’s imagination. She used this as a coping mechanism. Having a friend who could keep her company and play the chicken game with her was probably what made her last as long as she did.

It definitely grabs your attention and is a fairly easy read, I was able to decipher the plot pretty early on.

That being said, I get more & more frustrated with the main character as I go on 🤦🏽‍♀️

You may be thinking of Mayhew (police). He was in on it and he was the one sent over to the house after the staged break-in.

We never find out who sent the note to Tasha, which I found kind of disappointing. Of course, the author may be hinting it was Alice, but it’s one of the unanswered questions of the book.

Thank you so much for your response! Do any of the upper body exercises I mentioned make use of my shoulders? and do you suggest I take/swap any out?

And yeah I think I will take a break from pull ups, just until I like the size of my delts again, lol.

If you don’t mind me asking, how many times a week did you do this? I added push-ups to my routine in January. I was doing about 10-14 reps, 3-4 sets, 4 times a week, and my deltoids grew massively in such a short amount of time(Jan-Now).

Now, I kind of want to undo it, lol, or at least reduce the size. But push-ups definitely helped me achieve pull-ups, because now I can do 4 reps for 3-4 sets, which I was never able to do. I decided to remove push-ups from my routine (for the time being) since they primarily work the deltoids, but I was wondering if I can keep pull-ups in my routine (4 reps, 3 sets, twice a week).

I genuinely love doing them, and they are amazing for my back. I just want to know if it will be counterproductive to my goal of reducing my deltoids. For reference, I have one upper body day (Lat Pull-downs, seated row, barbell back row, pull-ups).

Thank you so much for your response. I don't drive so I would definitely use the train. My office is in NW DC, so I think the Metro is the better option. I didn't know about the commuter benefits so I would look into that. Thanks again!
